Cambria and Jeff had their engagement pictures taken last night.

Cedar Game - 27-24 (Won)

It was pretty funny, my mom kept calling me because she and my dad were listening to the game at home and I was in Cedar watching the game.

Everytime the commentator would say Trevor's name, my mom would freak out!!!

She called me the first time and told me they said that Trevor Horlacher leads Region 9 in the most tackles. Then she called me again and said - they said Trevor is a tough kid and will get anywhere on the field to make the tackle.

Then she called me again and I told her, "Mom, you listen there and I will watch HERE and we will compare notes after the game".

She was just sooo excited!! Trevor had a great game and I wish I could've heard what they said on the radio, but I think it's better to watch RIGHT THERE!!!

 Grandpa was pretty excited about this game, Trevor played the position that he played in college and high school - Defensive End. He loves watching Trevor play and here he is showing Trevor some moves.

Lucky Trevor-Sadies

 Trevor has been asked to Sadies. It's funny because Sadies isn't until November 16th.

He opened the door and there sat a big tin of Lucky Charms and 2 boxes of cereal.

The note read:

"I'd be LUCKY if a CHARM like you would go to Sadies with Me?

(Find my name at the bottom of the bowl)

 The girls name is Maddie Root

Now that's Trevor's size cereal bowl!!!

Twinner Day

It was Twin Day at School today

and Jacquel and Sydnee both wore white pants and their jerseys

They are such cute girls and such good friends!!

Meet The Hauck's

Well the day came for the IN-LAWS to get together and meet and talk wedding stuff.

The Hauck's invited us to their home to have dinner.

They asked me to make Pani Popo's (Coconut Buns) and they did Bar BQ Chicken.

On the way there, Sydnee made the comment,

"This is going to be awkward."

Well we got there and visited, ate and talked wedding stuff.

As we were leaving Sydnee made another comment,

"It wasn't awkward at all, as I thought it would be".

Jeff has a great little family, we didn't get to meet Brad or Stephanie,

but there will be plenty of time for that.

 

Football Injury

 While Trevor was playing in his game last night, I noticed he had hurt his arm.

It happened to be the same arm that he fractured his growth plate when he was in the 6th grade.

So after the game he was still in alot of pain. The next morning we checked and he was

in even more pain. So I didn't hesitate to take him to Instacare.

 While we were waiting for the xrays, I was trying to entertain him.

HE WAS NOT Amused, Can you tell.

I think I was getting on his nerves.

 The Dr. came back into the room with his xray and gave us GREAT NEWS.

NO BREAK!!! Just a bad sprain.

When I looked at the xray, it looked like to cracks in his arm bones.

So I asked, what are those?

She said, "Those are his growth plates that are still very much opened".

I said, "OK, so is that good?"

She said, "That means that he has more growing to do, maybe 3 more inches"

My jaw dropped and Trevor smiled big!!!

WHAT, he's already 6'3" so your telling me 6'6" possibly?

HOLY COW!!!

Trevor said," that makes the xrays all worth it!!"

Friday Night Football

 Friday nights have got to be our favorite night of the week, when Trevor plays football.

We gather in our corner on the top right of the bleachers and watch him play.

Grandma and Grandpa Horlacher & AhQuin always enjoy coming and enjoying the evening with us.

This evening it was just my parents and Cam and Syd.

Then at Halftime - Joe and his family came.

When I saw this picture I just fell in love with it.

I saw Trevor tackling and then in the background off to the left I see Bryan watching him.

A picture says so much.

Another thing is that Trevor hurt his left arm during the 1st quarter and he was in alot of pain.

He has this arm tucked in and tackling with only his right arm.

 After Bryan was watching him, he saw that Trevor was being DOUBLETEAMed.

So he ran to Trevor right when he came off the field.

He needed to talk to him and show him how to SHED the two blockers off of him

 It's always been such a highlight for me to watch my husband coach my kids.

But Trevor loves football just as much as his dad and listens to everything he tells him.

 During the game I saw Trevor holding his left arm. I kept looking through the binoculars and saw

him try to shake off the pain. He finally came off the field to get a drink and I called to the

trainer and asked him to please check Trevor's left arm and tape it, to give him stability.

He did and then later on gave him Advil.

He started feeling much better after the Advil kicked in.

Grandpa loves to watch Trevor play and is always so proud of him.

Grandma still brings him a cold juice for after the game.

 Uncle Joe and Aunty Janette came to watch him play also.

Players to watch: SC had only 37 offensive plays last week. A good percentage of those were for big plays, such as RB Brandon McFarland’s 75-yard run and WR Jace Graft’s 63-yard catch and run TD from QB Mason Smith. The Warriors had 491 yards on those 37 plays (13.3 yards per play), while the defense, led by LB Trevor Horlacher’s six tackles and two sacks, held CV to just 145 yards.

They say when it rains in troubles, they come in 3's.

Well, it all started (1)with my basement flooding with 2" of water,

then a few days later our(2) Fuel Pump goes out in our car.

Bryan calls around and it's going to cost $550.00 to replace.

(We need the car, so we HAVE TO do it!)

Then I come home from picking up the car from getting fixed and

my house is HOT!!

My(3) air conditioning in my house went out!!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

I would count this as the 3rd one, so hopefully

I'M DONE!!!

So much for tyring to put money towards Cambria's wedding!!!

It's funny how things happen.

But, I'd much rather deal with things like that

Rather than Health!!

Wedding Dress Alterations

 My beautiful little girl who is now not so little, who is getting married soon~

decided to wear my wedding dress.

Wow, talk about an honor, who would've known that when I was her age trying on dresses

and making my choice, that I was going to have a daughter wear it also.

(That DID NOT cross my mind at the time!!!)

I told her that she could do whatever she wanted to do with my wedding dress,

 because it is now her's.

So she of course wanted to get rid of the 90's sleeve and POOFY shoulder with the pads.

Other than that, everything fit perfect!!!

She invited Jeff's mom to be there with us, it was such a priceless moment!!!
