New Years Eve Youth Party

     I had been released as part of the Stake Youth Presidency and they still asked Bryan and I to come and chaperone the Youth dance all night. 

We had a lot of fun and I LOVE Being with my hubby!!!

Cambria's Art Final

Well pictured is my oldest, Cambria Hauck with her final project from her art class in college.

She has in her other hand her first self portrait done on the first day of class.

She said that her instructor asked the class to draw a self portrait of themselves and

gave them 1 1/2 hours to complete. She finished in 15 minutes, she figured that was as

good as it was going to get.

Well her FINAL was to draw a self portrait of herself again and she had a week to complete.

Well here is her finished project compared to her first self portrait.

Isn't that amazing?

I am so proud of the young woman that she is and how she is always trying to 

improve her talents.  She has always been my STUDENT child who loves school and knowledge.

So proud of her.

Christmas Skype with Our Missionary

We couldn't wait to skype Elder Horlacher for Christmas, that

was our best present ever, to see his cute face and listen to his 

mexican accent. He looked so good!!!!

 Navy had called earlier in the week and asked me if he could come

over and see Trevor during our SKYPE call. Can you tell

by Trevor's smile how HAPPY he was to see Navy?

They both were so excited and actually tried to hug each other.

 

 We had to take a picture with him and all of the family.

Next year he will be here in person to take a picture with us. 

We all took turns talking to him and updating him about

things going on in our lives.

 

 He left us with some spiritual advice and a pose. 

 We met his companion Elder Yoo and the 

Sister missionaries as well.

 It was such a great Christmas morning seeing our Missionary.

Christmas Day with the AhQuin Family

It was such an enjoyable day with my family who were able to be there:

Horlacher's, Clay & Julee's family, Max & Sunshine's Family

and Joe & Janette's Family all gathered at Joe & Janettes Home.

It was absolutely melt in your mouth delicious!!

She said that she called mom for her recipe and directions.

 All of us just about the pray and EAT!!!!

We love when our family is together!!!

 

After eating the Christmas toys were brought out and the popular

toy was the HOVER BOARDS!!!

We watched from inside everyone trying it out while it was FREEZING COLD.

 My girls were a great support to my brothers when they were trying it out.

Then something came over me and I found myself out there wanting to try it.

My brothers were my crutch to help me.

I think they were just excited that I was willing to give it a try.

It wasn't too bad, On my last round I rode it all by myself!!

 Then after a few hours of playing outside, we came in and exchanged ornaments with

those families that hadn't done it yet. So Max & Sunny's Family exchanged with

Cecilee & Angel and Cam & Jeff exchanged with Clay & Julee's family. 

 
Then we started a game of GIANT JENGA with the family. It was so much fun, it got so high and

everyone got into it

  It was such a magical day, even though we didn't have EVERYONE there.

We were missing Mom and Irene & Adam's family.

Adam's family had the SMITH FAMILY CHRISTMAS and

Mom went down to spend Christmas with Irene so 

she wasn't alone, since her kids were with Sale.

Next Christmas hopefully EVERYONE will be in attendance.

We will have Trevor & Jaden back, but Kiana on her mission.

Christmas DAY!!!!

 

Christmas Eve under the tree.

We still do SANTA gifts for our kids and we LOVE LOVE LOVE that

they continue to come and spend the night at our home on

Christmas Eve!!! I absolutely LOVE that tradition best!

These masks were found in the guys stockings and I think they 

kind of liked them!!!

 A few Santa Gifts that the girls got:

Cambria got a gardening cart with gardening tools,

Cam & Cec both got Breakfast in Bed sets for their spouses.

Sydnee got a guitar & a disc phone charger.

 I made this frame for Cecilee and Angel, it's a gift that I have made

a tradition for my kids that get married. 

So it's a heart shaped couple collage with their pictures, that I made & framed.

Cecilee also got a makeup train case.
