Dinner with the Aunties

We are on our way to our cruise and I thought that it would be a great opportunity to visit my aunty's Marion and Vicky in Torrance. They were so hospitable and made a beautiful, DELICIOUS dinner for us. They made fried pork chops, baked potato, broccoli and applesauce. It was just like my grandma use to make. They were so delicious. I love hanging out with my Aunty's, they don't ever seem to age to me. I am so glad that I took this opportunity to visit them.

Cam's Graduation BBQ

I did a Graduation BBQ for Cam. We BBQ'd Teriyaki Chicken, Rice, Mac Salad, and lots of different cupcakes (thanks to my wonderful sister's and mom-they all helped me make mac salad and cupcakes, they are so thoughtful). We had so many friends and family come and eat, swim and enjoy visiting. We had so much fun. Cambria deserved all of the attention and recognition for graduating.

I saw these cupcakes last year on a blog and I wanted to try to make them for Cam's Graduation Party. They of course looked better than this, but I tried.

Sydnee's Welcome Summer Pool Party

All of my kids have always had a "Last Day of School" Pool Party and Sydnee wanted to follow in the tradition, but because Cambria's Graduation was on the last day of school it had to be delayed to the next day. So Sydnee and Aspen made invitation's and gave them food assignments and the party was a huge success!!! So much fun!!!

GrAd NiTe 2010

After Graduation the parents all get together and put on a HUGE Grad Nite for the graduates. They transform the gymnasium into the theme of grad nite. This years theme was "HANG TEN 2010" a total beach theme. It was so much fun BUT a TON of work for the parents. They had all sorts of activities for the kids, outside they had a dunk tank, bounce house, water slide, a beachboys band, etc. Inside they had a Hawaiian dinner with entertainment. I was over the poly entertainment and dinner music, so who better to do the dinner music than my dad. He was so cute. The kids got up and started dancing to his songs, he just loved it. It was so much fun to be a part of something so incredible!!!! The party started at 8:30pm and went until 5:00am. So much fun!!!
The Waterslide that the kids could skimboard, boogie board or bodysurf into the pool of water. Sooo fun, one of the BIGGEST hits of the evening.
