Seminary Graduation

Our tradition for our graduates is that we present leis to our ward family members.
The graduates from our ward was:
(LtoR) Braxton Kunde, Alishia Walter, Trevor, Jocelyn Bozarth, BK Hurt, A. Smith, Zach Kennedy
These 4 young men all have their calls to serve:
BK: Russia, Braxton: Korea, Zach: Georgia & Trevor: Mexico
Garret jumped into this picture even though he isn't in our ward.
He has his call also, to the Dominican Republic
After Seminary Graduation all throughout the Region we put together a photoshoot of all of
Snow Canyon's prospective missionaries for 2014.
In this photo we had 51 missionaries that had their calls already before graduation.
There were a total of 55 missionaries in the final picture.

Cambria was the photographer behind the amazing picture
She did such an amazing job capturing that moment in time.
One Sister missionary and 54 Missionary Elders all CALLED TO SERVE

Rugby State Championship

Traveling with our kids up to Trevor's Rugby Semi Finals. It's just so weird for my to look back and see
my children NO LONGER small, but HUGE!!!
It was such an incredible last few days.
Opening of Trevor's Mission call the day before and then come up to play in the Quarter Finals and
now playing in the Semi-Finals for the Championship against East.
All of this time they were planning on playing a different team, but they are playing East.
They are pretty BIG boys.
It was pretty sad, when our boys were walking into the stadium I watched and heard parents of the
East players talking in Samoan and saying while laughing, "These boys are so small, this is going
to be easy!!" Man did my stomach drop when I saw all of those BIG BOYS and hear those parents.
Trevor had an absolutely amazing game.
He is such a great asset to his team and he LOVES his team & coaches!!
They are such a great team together, they play as brothers & family!

The FINAL score ended up being 29-34!!!!
Yes we WON!!! The little boys beat the BIG BOYS!
It was so fun to watch these boys play so hard and come out on top!
The did the HAKA afterwards for the families.
The President of the Rugby Club presented the medals and the trophy!!!
This guy hugging Trevor use to be one of SC coaches, but he always LOVED Trevor!!!

It was so nice to have Kylee there cheering Trevor on.
They both seem to like each other and have been dating a little.
They both opened their mission calls just 2 days ago.

Bryan LOVES watching Trevor play any sport. He loves the athleticism that he has.
They all signed a ball for the coaches to give to them after the ceremony.
Trevor and his coaches: Puriri and Day
They have always believed in Trevor and always wanted him to play all 4 years.

Cambria and Jeff always love to come and photograph Trevor's games
Afterwards we went to Temple Square and walked around and had Cheesecake Factory.
Celebrating with Cheesecake!!

The Day of the Mission Call

Trevor went to the mail after we saw the mailman pass at 8:30am
He was soooo excited when he saw his call. He yelled, "Wahoo!!!"
Rode his scooter and noticed that the envelope was partially opened.

When he brought it home Cecilee of course took advantage of the partially opened
envelope and tried to see what she could.
The envelope that will tell us where Trevor will be spending the next 2 years of his life
preaching the gospel. Sooo excited!!!

Trevor in front to the map of the world. I wonder WHERE in the WORLD will he go?

Bryan's name tag from his mission to Australia 25 years ago.
Trevor and Kylee (the girl he had been dating) received their calls on the same day!!!
We went to Kylee's to watch her open her call at 3:00pm

There were A LOT of kids there for her opening.
Sister Martin you are hereby called to serve in Santiago Chile.
Some of their friends after Kylee opened her call.
(LtoR) Cason Patterson, Trevor, Nate Gottfredson, Kylee, John Te, Bowman Loo & Garrett Ence
Trevor carried his envelope with him EVERYWHERE that day.
He said that he wasn't taking any chances with anyone TAMPERING with his call.
Here he is with 3 Generations of Horlacher Men.
Bryan served in Sydney, Australia and Grandpa Horlacher served in Ireland.
Trevor's getting a bit anxious and excited. Bryan trying on his name tag.

Father and Son
Waiting for everyone to get to our house for Trevor's Opening Reveal
We had lots and lots of Trevor's friends and neighbors come to support him.
While we were waiting we had all of the boys and girls that had received their calls already
stand and share with us where they were going.
We had a total of 35 missionaries in our presence at the time.
We had some going to California, Russia, Chile, Peru, Domincan Republic, Honduras, Belguim, Korea, etc.

Elder Horlacher, You are Hereby called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, You are hereby called to serve in the Mexico Ciudad Obregon Mission. It is anticipated that you will serve for a period of 24 months. You will report to the Provo Missionary Training Center on
