Our grandkids have been so excited about learning about temples, so Bryan and I wanted to make it a point to go to the temple that we were married in and show them while we were in California. With COVID going on the Los Angeles temple was closed but the grounds were open to visitors to be able to walk around and feel peace. We had so much fun taking the kids and sharing our story of that day on June 22, 1991. It was so weird to be back 30 years later with our children and grandchildren. Back on that day Bryan and I had NO IDEA what our future would hold for us as we walked out of the temple surrounded by sooooo many family members who were so happy for us on that day. That day was THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE. I watched my wedding day video every day for 6 months and then a few times a week and slowly less and less. Our life isn't perfect but its been PERFECT for us. We have been blessed with our 4 beautiful children who have chosen great spouses and 4 soon to be 6 grandchildren and so many wonderful memories through those 30 years.
I loved this day and its always so amazing how much hustle and bustle is on the freeways and the surrounding areas, but as soon as you get on the temple grounds the peace is felt.
