 Sydnee had the opportunity to be a model for a photoshoot for Lauren Wrigley Photography.

She and her cousin Raya both were models. 

It was fun to watch them and have fun!!!

Memorial Day 2016

 Memorial Day this year we weren't at the cabin for the first time in years.

We went as a family: Cecilee and Sydnee and Me & Bryan and had 

breakfast at the grave with my dad.

As we were leaving my sister and her husband Jared were coming to bring flowers also.

It was so good to see them.

Family Visits from Hawaii

 

 There is nothing greater than FAMILY!!!!

We love it when Family comes into town especially our family from HAWAII!!!

Kingsley and his family are here for a family reunion in St. George with the Purcell family.

So before their reunion started the next morning we got together at Clay's

house and pool.  It was so fun for everyone to laugh and have a good time.

Kinglsey is a Stake President in Laie and it was awesome listening to his 

story of his calling and how inspirational it was.

 Us older cousins love to be together and talk story.

 

My Sister Irene gets married

This story is pretty incredible. As we all know my sister has been

involved with a man by the name of Doc for the last 8 years and

he has been taking care of her and her kids financially and they 

had a great thing going. But the down fall was that she didn't get to

see him as much as she would've loved and a he wasn't a member

of the church and probably never would be able to take her to the temple.

So after lots of prayer and contemplation she decided to turn her life

over to the Lord and let him find someone for her. Well after 2 days of 

doing that she joined an LDS singles website: LDS Planet.com and

happened to meet Jared in Las Vegas. They met for lunch and hit it off,

he wanted to see her again but she was coming to St. George to dance

in Calum's Concert. So she invited him to see if he would come.

Well he did, and the rest is history. He met the whole family and ended

up staying the whole weekend. Well Clay, being the bishop that he is,

interviewed the two of them and talked with Jared about the church.

Found out that he is a current temple recommend holder, attends church 

weekly and lives with his parents. He has 4 children about the same

ages of Irene's kids as well. So Clay talked to them about their future

and they said that they felt like they wanted to get married. 

So 9 days after meeting they are tying the knot and waiting the year

to be sealed in the temple. 

 My brother Clay married them with a lot of help from my dad

from the other side. 

 It was so nice to be together with my whole family.

We are all sooooo excited for Irene and Jared. 

It's so crazy how the Lord works and I'm sure my dad had

something to do with it.

  

My first full complete HOTMESS SESSION

 I honestly can say that I completed a full HOTMESS session

of 8 weeks and worked out harder than I ever have and learned to

love myself and these ladies and their positivity.

 My little sister is amazing and what she has done for all of these ladies and myself.

To be able to set that example for them and teach them that they are ENOUGH,

they are SEXY BEASTS, and that they ARE AMAZING!!!

I loved being a part of it and will continue to be a HOTMESS mama.

Courage for Calum Concert

Well this is the time for our Spring Concert for Kalamity and Kaos CAUSE for the Year.

No Longer Pageant Director of Miss Ivins

This was the year that I retired from being the Miss Ivins Princess Pageant Director.

I turned over the reigns to Lisa Svedin after 9 years.

She pretty much shadowed me for the last couple years and wanted to take it over.

This was taken with the new 2016 Royalty after a City Council Meeting

in front of the city building and beautiful Red Mountain.

 This amazing woman gave up her crown as Miss Ivins Princess Pageant director tonight! She is so amazing and has always been a wonderful example of service, leadership, happiness, getting involved, and just getting things done! Hermana Martin is Home from Chile

 It was a great day for the Martin Family.

Hermana Martin came home from her 19 month LDS mission from Chile.

I volunteered to take pictures for Tracy at the airport so that she didn't have to worry about 

that part. It was so awesome to watch the reunion unfold and see the many emotions.

She was such a great little missionary.

 This picture was our family after her homecoming talk at the luncheon in her backyard.

Happy FIRST Year Anniversary Cec & Angel

You know the tradition where you freeze the top of your cake and eat it at your 1 year anniversary? Well funny story, a year ago after the wedding Cambria and I didn't get wedding cake and we heard it was delicious, Cambria said, "mom the cake is disgusting after a year let's eat it and get a new one for their anniversary. " so we did. We brought over this cake all wrapped as If it had been in the freezer they were hesitant to eat it, then Angel told Cecilee, "you take the first bite" when she did she said, "OMG this is so fresh, it must have a ton of preservatives to taste this good after a year" so Angel dug in and had 2 pieces. Cambria comes over to have a piece and Cecilee was telling her how good it is even being in the freezer for a year. Cambria and I could not control our laughter, we spilled the beans. I think it's a stupid tradition to save cake for a year in the freezer and then eat it. Why not just get a fresh one!!!

Mother's Day 2016

 Mother's Day my family decided to go early to my mom's house and surprise her with

breakfast and a new outfit. 

The girls and I went in and helped dress her and get her all prettied up.

Then we came into the dining room and have breakfast together.

Then Clay's family came over with the same idea.

We love spoiling my mom and making her feel special and let her know how much

she means to us.

 My greatest gift was my SKYPE call with my favorite missionary.

I can't believe this is our LAST Skype call with him

He was so stinkin cute.
