Bryan lost his job at LP
Bryan has been working at LP Building Solutions for the last 6 years and today he called me and said that they let him go, because they said it just isn't working out.
I am so sad for him but so confused at what the reasoning is. Bryan hasn't been loving working there for the last 6 months but he wanted to have the decision to QUIT & not be FIRED.
For the last 2 weeks he covered for both Derek and Dell while they were gone on vacation and work conferences. He was juggling the schedule and taking care of all of their jobs and delivering things that the guys needed to finish their jobs for the builders. And this is the thanks that he gets.
They have no appreciation for the hard work that he did while they were gone.
I know he feels relieved but mostly hurt.
Well he came home and made an appt. with our Bishop for a temple recommend interview considering he is his boss and he lost his temple recommend. He wanted to go into the office and talk with him and declare his worthiness to him.
It was interesting that our Bishop happened to call Bryan the following morning and said that he can't get him off of his mind and was wondering if he could bring us dinner and come over and visit.
We shared with him what happened and he said, "That is the reason my schedule was totally open tonight and that I had the impression to come over" he also said, "Bryan that proves that Heavenly Father is very aware of your situation and that he loves you and has something else in store for you".
We had a great visit and while we were visiting Bryan left for his interview with our home ward BISHOP-Derek Larsen.
Bryan said that Derek told him that he has had this feeling for a long time, that he knows that Bryan is too LOYAL and Honest that he would never quit and he felt like he needed to let him go because there are bigger things in store for him. Bryan did NOT agree with that, he wanted to be able to have the choice to quit and NOT be fired. He was just so hurt.
That night I received another call from Elder Dudfield (Bryan's missionary companion from Australia, traveling 70's in the church) he said that he couldn't get Bryan off of his mind and wanted to know how he was doing? I told him about his job and he said that he would put his name in temple and pray for him. He said, "Tonya, Heavenly Father is very aware of Bryan and has a plan for him, so tell him to continue doing what he's doing and know that he is in good hands with Heavenly Father"
THIS WAS CONFIRMATION to me that Heavenly Father really does know Bryan and his situation and loves him and is looking out for him.
