Halloween 2019 - Wizard of Oz

I love when my kids pacify me and go with my suggestions.
I love family costumes!!! So I wanted to do WIZARD OF OZ and all of my kids
who were around agreed!!!  We had Mia by Dorothy (wearing the dress that Sydnee wore when she was 3 years old) Then Rex was the cowardly lion, Jeff was Tinman and Angel was Scarecrow.
I was Aunty Em, Bryan was The Wizard, the twins were the Lullabye gang, Cambria was Glenda and Cecilee was The Wicked Witch of the West.
We took the kids to Stephen Wade (Where Jeff works) to do some trick or treating.
It was so much fun, we had our whole crew together!!
Before we went to Stephen Wade the girls and I took the kids to St. George Rehab to bring a little bit of cheer to those people there. They loved seeing the kids.
After Stephen Wade we went to my brother Adam's house to use his driveway for a picture.
It turned out better than I expected.
While there my mom was there so we got to show her our costumes and be with her for a little bit.
Halloween was so much fun!!!
Now to decide what to do for next year!!!

We are with the Single Adult ward FHE and we are giving service to the Children's Museum and helping with their Halloween party. We enjoy serving in the SA Ward and enjoy hanging out with them. They are such great examples of service to us.

Trick or Treating with Mia and Rex

We went Trick or Treating with Mia and Rex at the ole East Elementary for an ASL groups Trunk or Treating. Mia had so much fun and learned to say Thank you in sign language before the night was over. Everyone dressed up in UTAH gear!!! We love when we get invited by our kids to participate with them in different activities.

Vera and Ayva's CoCo 1st birthday party

Vera and Ayva absolutely love the movie CoCo. So it would be totally fitting to have a
Coco birthday party to celebrate them turning 1!!!
Cambria did an amazing job collecting, buying and making everything for the birthday party.
She invited everyone and asked them to come dressed as people from Coco movie.
So many people came dressed up. Good thing it was in October because everyone loves to dress up and go to Halloween parties.
We love when our families, The Haucks and The Horlachers get together for our shared grandbabies!! It's so much fun to be surrounded by family!!

Family pictures in Newport Beach for my 50th birthday

I absolutely LOVE my family and I love when we get to spend time together for a vacation.
To wrap up our wonderful weekend together, we went on Sunday morning to the beach and took family pictures. My family is so good to always go along with my ideas to capture those moments in time. YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY FAMILY PICTURES!!!
After Trevor's accident, I kept thinking, we never know who might not be in our family picture the next time we take one, so I need to have one everytime we are together.
I know that sounds dramatic but its true!!!
(Even if its just a selfie)
