Cecilee & Tori - BFF's

Have you ever had a friend that you knew right when you met them that you knew them in the pre-existance? Well, these two girls had to have known each other and made a pact to find each other. They are like sisters, the same in every way!!! They look alot alike, but one is Brown and the other is white. They are like chocolate and vanilla, salt and pepper, brown sugar and white sugar, etc.

When I signed Cecilee up for soccer when she was 5 yrs old, Tori was on her team. Jen, Tori's mom told me that the first time Tori met Cecilee she told Jen, "There is this brown girl on our soccer team that is really good, I want to be her friend." They both were always the bigger girls on their soccer teams and the best ones. What's so funny about this relationship, is that Jen (Tori's mom) and I were friends when we were 7, through our mom's. Who would've known that our daughter's would become each other's best friend.
They have been known to keep everyone laughing where ever they are. Whether it's team nights, soccer games, practices, or just hanging out. When they are together they feed off of each other and just CRACK EVERYONE UP!!! They both love to laugh and have a good time.

They both love to lay out and get BLACK!!! They were inseperable for years and years. Tori is a few weeks older than Cecilee, which means they are both in different grades. Tori graduated this year and left for college in IOWA to play soccer. Cecilee had to say goodbye to her best friend in the whole wide world. When Cecilee went to go say goodbye to Tori, Tori's mom text me and said, "Watching Tori and Cecilee say good bye to each other is ripping my heart apart."

Their friendship is sweeter than any dessert. They love each other so much and I can't wait till they can play together again on the soccer field.

Football Season is starting!!!

We love this time of year!!! Yes, I realize I don't have a husband for a few months, but I know that he is doing something that he LOVES!!! I love that he is out on the field with Trevor and that he is sharing his love with his son. I love watching my son play and watching my husband coach. He absolutely loves the game and loves teaching the boys everything he knows about the game. There is NO OTHER word to describe the passion that they both have, it's LOVE!!!! I am excited for my son this year, he is a sophomore and he is playing VARSITY

Senior Yr. Soccer Team

These were taken during Cecilee's healing period of her injury.

It's Cecilee's Sr. Year and we just found out that she made the SCHS Girls Soccer Team. It's no surprise but after her ordeal last year of getting hurt and needing surgery and watching her team play without her she is long overdue. But getting back in shape was the hard part for her. She wasn't motivated and she knew that it would be a LONG haul. BUT she did it, she kicked herself into high gear and got to where she needs to be for her team. They are planning on taking state this year and with her intensity and love of the game and missing out last year, there is NO STOPPING THEM. I have been so proud of her. She loves her teammates and are looking forward to a great season. We love our Cecilee!!!!
These were the beginning of Cecilee's introduction of preparing for the upcoming Soccer Season.

KALAMITY dances at Tuacahn

KALAMITY is everywhere-they were just nominated to receive recognition on the KUTV channel 2 news from Salt Lake City, Utah. They came down and interviewed Tia and some of her dancers and did a 5 minute thing on the news about the good that they do in the community and for those facing their own calamities. I just cried when I saw the news feature and was so proud of my little sister and the incredible person that she is.

She is doing some great things for her dancers, their families and for those that she dances for a cause for.

SHE IS MY HERO!!!

Well, they were just spotted at Tuacahn performing for the preshow of Little Mermaid.

They were incredible AGAIN!!!

They are preparing to go to Salt Lake and dance in a show that they were invited to perform at called, "BREAK THE SILENCE".

They will be dancing with some of the BIGGEST names in Utah. I guess that means, KALAMITY is considered one of the BIGGEST studios.

If you haven't seen them dance, you are missing out.

It's quite the treat.
(LtoR) Edel, Shay, Emily, Cam, Alexa, Sami, LaTisha, Erin (33 wks prego)
Sheree (33 wks prego), Erin, Becky & TIA
This group is incredible, you will see lots more of them in the future.

Tia ALWAYS gathers her dancers together to have a prayer before each performance.

She wants them to remember who blessed them with their talents and to always give

thanks and to have them remember WHY they are dancing and remember their CAUSE.

Tia offers the prayer and they have a special way that they join hands in their circle.
Everyone does it together.
They are amazing together and they couldn't do it without each other.

Tia and Cam after the show with the family.

(LtoR) Sunshine, Max, Cecilee, Mom, Cam, Dad, Tia, Daysha (cousin), Me & Irene
Raya, Sydnee & Lisia

BTW: Daysha is a HAnnemann cousin who is in the shows up at Tuacahn. She plays a mermaid sister in The LIttle Mermaid and Cha Cha in Grease.

Vegas Time w/Aunty Irene

Irene took all of the girls that were Lisia's age to Las Vegas to stay in a hotel and do school shopping and lots of fun. They had such a blast!!!

Another Driver

Bryan took Trevor to the DMV to take his drivers permit test. He has been 15 since March and has showed NO interest in getting his permit. But now that his friends all have their permits and some have their licenses, he thought he would give it a try. He was pretty nervous and started to doubt himself. He had to take the test twice, BUT passed.
Congrats Trevor, that makes 5 drivers in our home.

Wet Family Fun

Another excuse to get together, Adam and Becca are back from Hawaii and now on their way back to Viriginia, who knows when we will see them again, so let's get together!!!! We always have our family things on Sunday's and the kids come over and stare at the pool and of course can't swim on Sunday. So we decided to have a pool party for the kids and the BIG KIDS. Tristan just hanging out in the tube with his uncle Bryan.Clay and Julee enjoying the coolness of the pool. The next day Clay was called to Bishop. Everyone having an enjoyable time. Hannemann Lisia dancing her way into the water. Sydnee, Raya and Lisia Avenna, sooooo cute!!! Tia with Kalea, check out those little chunky legs on Kalea. Mom and Dad enjoying their posterity!! There's nothing buy JOY here!!! Everyone who was in the shallow side of the pool, CHEESE!!!!
