FAMILY is EVERYTHING

When I got married, I remember the sealer say,
"You will find joy in your posterity. I was quite sure what that meant.
BUT 26 years later I FOR SURE know what that means!!!
I have truly found JOY in my POSTERITY!!
I love my family and my kids more than they will ever know!~!
My family loves to be together and I am so grateful that they are as close as they are.
My mom would tell me as I was a teenager:
"Friends will come and go BUT your family will ALWAYS be there!"
While Trevor was here for a weekend we all went to see Mama Mia at Tuacahn

Happy 25th Birthday Cambria

July 20th 1992 was such a great and long anticipated day for the arrival of our
first child and the first grandchild on both sides.
Cambria Irene Horlacher came into the world looking like a little alien but
every baby does after they are born, but by the next morning for her hospital picture she
had rosy cheeks, red lips like rose buds and just a perfect little face, people thought that
I put makeup on her for her pictures.
She has always been beautiful on the outside but inside her heart is even more beautiful.
Her love for her family and her savior, her testimony of the gospel and her
faith in our Heavenly Father's plan in unbelievable.
As her mother, I continue to learn from her every year!!!

This was a 4 Generation picture taken with My mom and Grandmother.
My grandma passed away just 6 weeks after this picture was taken, so it's a priceless picture.
I always wished that my children could've met this incredible lady that I got to call Grandma.
But I do know that they were all taught by her before they all came to earth.
Cambria LOVES her siblings and is the greatest example to them.
She continues to make each one of them feel special and teach them by her example.

Man Bun

My son has come up with a dumb idea to try and grow a MAN BUN.
Since Kylee is away in Thailand for 8 weeks, he is trying to let it grow out and
see if he can do a man bun and facial hair.
So far, so good!!!

Tuacahn fun

This week was our volunteer appreciation week for our volunteers.
We had cold drinks and frozen treats for them.
My daughter still works at Tuacahn so it's fun to bump into her on the nights she works.
I have to control myself because I want to go an hug her when I see her.

Tips of the trade

Sydnee is so blessed when it comes to having Cecilee be able to
help teach her how to cut, color, etc. different things with hair. Cecilee is
always so willing to help her little sister learn new things in the hair industry.
Cecilee is amazing at what she does and any one of Sydnee's friend would DIE to
have Cecilee at their beckon call to be able to help teach them about hair.
I hope Sydnee appreciates how talented Cecilee is.

Keith & Susan came to visit

It was nice to spend an evening with Keith and Susan Otte and her parents.
We went to dinner and then went to see Cambria and Jeff's house.
They also came to our house to swim and Ben got a haircut from Cecilee.
Family is so much fun!!!

Our 4th of July 2017

Bryan and I woke up 4th of July morning and he said, "Lets go to the
St. George Parade" So he woke up the kids and we went.
He loves to be spontaneous and it was a lot of fun.
We then came home and made some food for BBQ and swam for a while.

I found some waterproof playing cards at WalMart and so we played
cards in the pool, but we were needing a table, so we used Trevor as the table.
We then got a text from Clay and he said that he was going to have a last minute
birthday party for Keawe and celebrate the 4th of July.
So we headed over to his house for swimming and fun!!!

We were missing Max and Adam's family.
So 5 out of 7 - NOT BAD!!!
