Sydnee's hard SCAM lesson to learn as an adult

It was about 5:30ish and I received a text from Sydnee that read:
"An officer called me at work (SPORTS CLIPS) and said that I have a warrant out for my arrest, for not going to jury duty. Now I am on my way to pay my bail."

Immediately I tried calling her and she replied:
"I'm on the phone with the officer until I get there"

I freaked out and told Bryan and he went into our room and got his gun and said, "I am going towards her direction, call me and let me know where she is as I am driving."

Thank goodness I have all of my kids on "FIND MY FRIEND" so I checked her location and she was heading towards Purgatory. So I thought if she's going there I have a good friend who works right next door at the fair grounds I was going to call her and see if she was still at work and could go meet her. So I called Susi Lafaele and I asked her if she was still at work and she said that she was going into Hurricane. I asked her about the address that I was getting for Sydnee's location and if it was near purgatory. She said, "NO that is in Hurricane". She said she was on her way to the Hurricane City Council meeting and she was passing IHC and that was 1100 West state street and I was looking at Sydnee's location and it was 1235 W. State Street. So she pulled into a parking lot where she thought it might be the area and told me she didn't see her car. I told her I think she is parked by a bank and a building (Walgreen's). She maneuvered into the other parking lot and found her car, she wasn't in there, so Susi ran into the store, where she found her on the phone with the "officer" in the gift cards section. Susi came to her and told her "hang up the phone, its a scam and call your mom." Gave her a hug and went to her meeting. SUSI WAS AN ANGEL HERE ON EARTH at that moment when I needed someone to find my girl. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER for placing people in my path at the right time. I couldn't have planned that scenario any more perfect!!!

I happened to call the NON emergency number to the police station and told them about it and they told me it is definitely a scam and all they want is the number off the gift card after they put the money on it and that's it. So it was a good thing Susi got there in time before Sydnee bought the gift card and put money on them. I am so grateful for the power of prayer and Heavenly Father sending SUSI's name to my head to call. I love Heavenly tender mercies. We love our baby and were so glad nothing happened to her. It's a hard lesson to learn that YOU CAN'T TRUST EVERYONE!! I kept picturing her scared to death and trusting that person on the other end of the phone!!!! She called me and just cried!! We cried together and I told her it's ok we just need to give thanks to Heavenly Father for protecting her and sending Susi.

Stent #3

Lately Bryan had been having some issues sleeping and breathing at night but always seemed to be able to get it under control and get some sleep. Well this day was a little different. Bryan had gone to play pickleball with Trevor, Kylee and JR and came home to watch the UTAH FOOTBALL GAME at the Rose Bowl. After everyone left, I went to bed at 10:00pm and Sydnee was up with Bryan watching a little football (which was a tender mercy and out of the ordinary). She watched Bryan lock the front door and was going to go take a bath and asked if he was going to go to bed now. He told her I'm having a little chest pain and so I will wait. She started asking questions and went to the cupboard and found his Nitroglycerin and told him to take one and he wouldn't. She came in and woke me up and I jumped out of bed and found Bryan taking his blood pressure, I happened to see it said, 200/120 and told him sternly I'm getting dressed and we are going to the hospital get your shoes on!!! Put this under your tongue. I came back and he said he was feeling better and I told him too bad we are going. Either you get in the car or I call 911 and make a scene in our neighborhood. He decided to go to the car.
Sydnee was so sweet and concerned she said "Mom I will drive". She got us to the ER and we walked in while she parked the car. They took Bryan back and did all of the chest pain protocols and had us sit in the waiting room and then took us back.
They drew his blood to see what his Troponin levels were since that will tell them if he had a heart attack. His numbers came back at .06 and .05 is normal. So they wanted to keep him and draw more blood in 6 hours to check the numbers again. If he had one it will be elevated. They put us in the room OU37 and all 3 of us just chilled and waited. They took his blood again and again and again and it came back .06 again. They didn't understand what was going on so they did a stress test later on Monday morning and it came back abnormal. So they needed to do an angiogram and see if there happened to be a blockage somewhere.
They found the blockage and it was 98% blocked. The Dr. said we probably would've been back but under different circumstances. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER for guiding Sydnee and Myself and getting Bryan to the hospital for help. I cannot thank my Heavenly Father enough for this blessing and allowing Bryan to stay here on earth with our family. He is meant to be here and do the work he has for him.
We were blessed with a great Dr. Owan who was so caring and personable and explained everything to us and made me feel more comfortable about this whole situation.
I love my husband so much and I want to do whatever I can do to help him feel his best and do what we need to do to get healthier. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER, I will not take this for granted and I will make the changes for us to stay around for our family.

Blessing of Diesel and Luka Hauck

It was such a beautiful morning getting to witness the beautiful blessings of Diesel and Luka by their father, Jeff. We gathered in Cambria and Jeff's home surrounded by family and lots of love. Jeff gave both of his boys beautiful heartfelt blessings and the spirit testified to all that these boys are here for a reason and we feel honored to be part of their lives.
