Day 3 of Juice Fast

Going strong, last night was not even a problem for me, even though we had a platter of those homemde oreo cookies with my homemade cream cheese frosting in the middle.
Seven layer bean dip, etc.
I ended up pulling out my juice towards the end and of course that opened a whole new discussion.
I poured some for everyone to try.
A few of them really want to look more into it. I guess they will be watching me.
Cecilee kept saying how starving she was, so I told her to give up.
She said,"NO, especially now that you are telling me to give up."
Wow, Reverse psychology really works!!! haha

Day 2 of the Juice Fast

Well yesterday wasn't too bad, I must've pee'd 6 times in a hour, which equals to every ten minutes. I just had to keep thinking that it was detoxing me and that it's a good thing.
I did pretty good, chewed a few pieces of gum for something to do with my mouth.
Which helped curb my appetite.
Cecilee on the other hand, ALMOST gave up. She said that at work, Pizza Factory
she was having such a hard time being around food and smells.
She was complaining to Cambria all night.
When I got home, I asked her how she was doing and she said, "I AM STARVING".
I told her to just give up, and she said,"NO, I am not a quitter. I am going to bed."
Well we will see how she does today.
I hear the 2nd and 3rd day are hard, but the 4th day is wonderful and from then on, it's easy.
SOOOOO, I am excited for the next few days.
I have a Cookie Lee Party tonight and I am baking some goodies.
I will be strong and not be tempted!!!
We'll check in tomorrow!

The Juice Fast

Cecilee and I have decided to take the challenge that we saw on  the movie "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead".
In that documentary, the guy went 60 days without eating and just juiced.
He lost 85 pounds and regained his health.
He mostly was doing it to try to heal himself with juicing and the nutrients from fruits and vegetables.
So, I have been juicing for 4 weeks for Bryan and just sipping here and there the leftover juices.
I wanted him to have all the juicing benefits, because I knew he was seeing a huge difference in his health.
This weekend, Bryan told me, Tonya let's just all of us do the juicing, because it's healthy for all of us.
I want to do the 10 day fast and see how I feel and will keep a record here about what I am going through.
Cecilee wanted to do it with me so we started this morning.
Last night, Bryan and I juiced for an hour straight and got 15 jars of juice which equalled 2 gallons.
I send Bryan with 4 jars for his day and Cecilee with 6 small jars and myself 5 jars.
I made breakfast burritos for the rest of the kids and wasn't even tempted to eat the turkey bacon.
I just keep thinking of all the vitamins that I am getting from the juice and what repairs it's doing inside my body.
I am excited and I am starting to look at food differently.

Trevor makes HS Soccer

Soccer tryouts were for two days and here Trevor and Navy are on their own team with their own birthday suit "pennies". These boys are also known as "Chip" and "Dale"
They were the only team that had NO SHIRTS!!!
I'm sure it was because everyone was sweating in the other pennies and Trevor does NOT like other peoples germs, especially sweat. He is very Germ a fobic.
Here they are at the end of the tryouts and the coach said, check the door at 8:30pm for the list of boys that made the soccer team. Trevor was quite nervous, so at 8:45pm we go down to the school and check the list.
YES, his name is on the list!!!!  Hooray!!!
Trevor and Navy pointing at the list, showing us their names are on the list!!!!
Congrats Trevor and Navy~!!!

Juicing

My mom shared a video with my husband called
"FAT, SICK & Nearly DEAD" on 2/01/2012 it motivated him to want to start juicing.
She let us borrow her 35 year old juicer, just until we get our own and to see if we really wanted to incorporate this into our lifestyle.
Well, it's been 3 weeks and we are still juicing like crazy.
Bryan has noticed a considerable difference in his health.  He keeps saying,
"I am NOT doing this for weightloss, it's just to see if it helps my health and the way I feel."
So, he has stopped drinking every 30 minutes, and urinating every 30 minutes.
He doesn't snore or sweat while sleeping.
He sleeps through the whole night without getting up to go to the bathroom.
He has sooo much more energy and doesn't fall asleep at church.
And he happens to be losing A LITTLE Weight.
BUT, It's NOT about weight loss.

Mom's 62nd Birthday

My brother Max had an idea for all of us to meet at 5:00pm on 2/20/2012 and surprise mom for her birthday. So we all got together and went in and sang "Happy Birthday To YOU"...
Mom was surprised and happy to see everyone.
We just love our mom and love to spend time as a family!!!!
Trevor and his shadow (Major)-everywhere Trevor goes, Major goes!!!
Bryan's Parents came to wish her a Happy Birthday on their way to the ranch.
 Mom and The Cheetah Girls
Dad and Max coming out to see everyone!!
Aunty Joyce came on her way back from Las Vegas with Uncle Sale to see my parents.
It was such a great surprise for all of us. We love our Aunty Joyce & Uncle Sale, they are like our 2nd parents. We grew up with their family right around the corner and will always be close to them.
The happy couples-Aunty Joyce & My mom and Uncle Sale & My Dad
We had a family Home Evening after wards and Roasted my mom.
We even got Adam's family on the phone to be included in our FHE.
Everyone cramed into the family room. And everyone shared a word that they think of when they think of our Mom and Grandma. Some of the words were: Knowledgable, Thoughtful, Loving, Charitable, Spunky, Eternal, Shopping, True, etc. Everyone came up with a different word and we could've gone around again with more words to describe my incredible mother!!!
Some of the boys: Trevor, Hannemann, Ammon & Jaden
We LOVE Our Family!!!!

Moos - Tache'

Cambria gave Trevor a mustache kit for Valentine's Day, we had some fun wearing them.

I think that I will stop waxing and see if I can grow one like this!!!! Yes my son is very tall.

Dumb & Dumber

We added to our vehicles since Trevor will be driving soon, so we bought a scooter from one of Cambria's dancing friends on KALAMITY. He is NOT 16 yet, so he can't LEGALLY drive it. So we let Navy drive him to Navy's house and it cracked us up. It reminded us of the movie
"Dumb & Dumber" (One of Bryan's Favorite movies)

This was taken during her 3rd game against The Dominators, a team from St. George.

After the game Sydnee and Jacquel walking to meet us.

Barely SNOW

We don't get snow very often, but when we do the kids get excited. It was raining all day and then in the evening the rain started getting thicker. Trevor and Sydnee got so excited they ran in the backyard and started trying to catch the HUGE snowflakes in their mouths. They were the size of our palms, the snowflakes were so big.
It lasted for about 15 minutes, and then it started getting less and less. The kids were hoping for a     SNOW DAY the next day.
NO LUCK for them, just heavy Fog and a tiny bit of snow or ice.
We couldn't even see the Big Red Mountain that morning.

Some of the Things "I LOVE..."

I LOVE...
* My husband, best friend, lover & father of my children-he always makes me feel beautiful and is ALWAYS Happy, and I know that it's NOT always me that makes him HAPPY. He is just naturally HAPPY all the time. I love to crawl into bed and snuggle up to him and he automatically rolls over and opens his arm for me to snuggle into. And he always says, "Hey Beautiful!" HE IS BLIND. And I love that too, that he is blind and see's me as beatuiful.
* My children, who bring me so much joy!!! Whether it is watching them play sports, dance or cheer. Or just listening to them laugh and talk amongst each other brings me so much happiness. I love that they love each other and love being a part of our family. I love each one of them individually and love each element that they bring into our family. I love the moments where we just sit as a family and talk about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, from Boys/Girls to the Gospel. It's ALL about Family Time.
* My Home, the place that we feel safe when we are all together. The place that Bryan and I chose to make a safe haven for our family from the evils of the world. The place that we love to come to at the end of our crazy days. The place that I love to lock the door to at the end of the day with every child in their beds and the knowledge that we are safe and they will be mine, "IF" I continue to do my part as their mother.
* My Calling as a Mother & Wife, I couldn't think of a better job in this life, than to be a mother and a wife. I hold these to jobs very dear to my heart and I hope that I have done them justice. My mom has ALWAYS been the greatest example to me. She is the ultimate mother and wife. She always made a home cooked meal everyday, cleaned the house top to bottom and did laundry EVERYDAY. The bar that she set for us has always been SOOO HIGH. But I continue to do MY BEST and that's all I can do. I may not be SUPERMOM like her, but I try. Being a wife to Bryan is one of my favorite things. He treats me like a Queen, so therefore, I try to treat him like a KING.
* My Parents, The two people who brought me into this world and taught me everything about the gospel and about the type of person that I wanted to be. The two people who raised me in a family with values and lots of LOVE. Who have set a great example of the type of parent that I want to be.

Love MONTH!!!!

So for this post, I want to write LOVE LETTERS to my kids:

Dear Cambria,

My heart is so full when I think of you as my firstborn and my oldest. You have always been the PERFECT child. Ever since you were born in the hospital and they took your newborn picture, EVERYONE who saw the picture, thought that I put lipstick and blush on you. Your face was just angelic with ruby red lips and rosy cheeks. You have always had the light of Christ in your eyes. You have always wanted to follow our Heavenly Father and always wanted to make us, your parents happy and you still do. Watching you grow up and now you are in college and going through another stage of life you are still very much my example. I have always been so impressed at how your testimony has been so strong and your values have NEVER waivered. You set such a great example to all that you come into contact with. I want you to know how pleased I am as your mother. How grateful I am for the friend that you are to me. For our talks and your advice to me, especially in the gospel. It's amazing how your knowledge of the gospel just exceeds my knowledge. I am so glad that you were my firstborn and example to your sisters and brother. Your dad and I love you more than you will ever know and appreciate all that you do for our family. I admire the young woman that you are and I am so glad that you have such a close relationship with Our Heavenly Father and you turn to him often. You know that YOU ARE NEVER ALONE, he is ALWAYS there for you and he is ALWAYS waiting to here from you. I love you my daughter and thank you for being who you are. All of my love, Your mother

My Dear Cec-So-Sweet,

When I think of you and the year that you have been through my heart breaks but I am also so proud as a mother at your strength. You have been such a great example of strength all of your life. You have always had such a spunk about you and such a strong personality

Valentine's Day
