My Last Maturation Clinic

Today was Sydnee's Maturation Clinic and my last one that I will have to go to ever. The school nurse that conducted the clinic, was absolutely hilarious. She made the girls feel comfortable and entertained all of us mom's and dad's. She was alot better then the last 3 people that I listened to in the past. She told the girls about a "Training Bra". She said in all her years of wearing a bra, you don't train them to do anything!!!! She kept us laughing. I was so glad to be able to be there with my baby. I can't believe how much growing, developing and mood changing is going on. That's LIFE!!!!

Graduate Dinner

Tonight the Young Men & Young Women Leaders put together a graduate dinner for the graduates and their parents. They then put together a video of all the graduates growing up and gave all of the graduates a copy. It was a fun evening to spend with Cambria. All of these kids are amazing in our ward. We have a few soccer stars, a basketball star, a few football stars, an incredible musician, a few cheerleaders & dancers, an associate graduate and the Homecoming couple. ALL in our very own ward. Cambria grew up with all of them from 5 yrs old to now. I can't believe how fast time has flown by.
All of the graduates from our ward: (LtoR)Taylor Ence, Taryn Hintze, Chase Robinson, Nicole Smith, KC ESplin, Cambria, Jordan Heaps (Bottom LtoR) Jake Walter, Morgan Wagner, Zach Fisher
Cambria & her YW leader Lori Brown (She loves Lori so much!!! So Do I!!!)
Me & My graduate, I love her sooo much!!!

Me & Bryan with our first graduate!!! WOW, we are old!!!

Soccer Saturday

We always seem to have AT LEAST 3 soccer games a Saturday. With Basketball in between the soccer games and a BLITZ game to watch our Blitz chick. So, needless to say, our Saturday's are quite booked!!! But we love every minute of it. This past Saturday it started with Trevor being involved in the Stake Triathalon at 8:00m.Then he had a basketball game at 9:00am and then we came home for an hour or so and then we went to Trevor's soccer game at 2:30pm. Then Sydnee's soccer game at 4:45pm, Cecilee's Soccer Game at 6:15pm and then the Blitz game to watch Cambria Cheer. Wow, reliving that day, just made me tired!!!! My husband loves to watch his kids play sports, but believe me, he has lots of coaching and yelling to do at them if they are NOT performing to the way he expects them to. He hasn't changed one bit, from coaching Cam & Cec, to making them cry on the field and yelling, "CECILEE!!!! THIS IS A RUNNING SPORT!!!! GET RUNNING!!!" He now yells at Sydnee while she is playing soccer and that doesn't phase her ONE BIT. His yelling doesn't make her cringe at all, she just rolls her eyes at him, you can tell that she is the baby. Then in the car ride home, he lectures her and she just looks out the window as if she is not hearing him. It cracks me up. I don't ever remember him yelling at Trevor-I guess it's just in his blood to play any type of sport. That boy started at 2yrs old. I love how Bryan has invested so much of his time with our children and their athleticism and playing soccer, football, basketball, etc. We both find so much joy watching our kids play sports. There are sooo many life lessons learned with playing sports.

Border League is Over

After the Triatholon Trevor ran over to his Basketball Game and played against a long time family friend that use to be our neighbor. When Trevor was 9 months old we had the Cox's as neighbors. Trevor and Trey were good buddies and Trey was an amazing little basketball player at 1 yrs old. That was who Trevor's team played in their last game. They ended up losing by 2 points, but it made for a good game. We love the Cox's and wish they were still our neighbors. Good memories.

Ivins Stake Triathalon

Today was the Ivins Stake Triathalon and Trevor was the only brave one to sign up and participate. I was worried for him, considering he did not train at all. He does play two sports right now, Soccer and Basketball, so his running, biking and endurance I wasn't worried, but his swimming, I WAS WORRIED. He hasn't swam for almost 9 months. He just told me, "Mom, you can do anything if you believe in yourself". Good thought. So he was quite tired with the swimming. I watched him take off and I could see into his 3rd lap, his arms were tired and he was thinking, "Am I going to be able to do this?" But he pushed through the pain and finished the swim, then he dried off and changed and got ready for the bike ride. He plugged into his IPOD and was off. I knew he would do well with the bike ride and knew that he would catch up on some of his time. So we saw him a couple times on his ride and then went to the finish line. He came in about 7th from the bike ride behind 3 men and 3 Seniors in high school. HE took off for the run and watching him, I knew he didn't realize what he had signed up for. It was alot harder than he thought. HE was so cute to watch and I was so proud of him for NOT giving up. He ended up coming in 4th in the Young Men category and 7th over all. He then had a PLAYOFF Basketball game right after that and a soccer game. He is definately going to be wiped out!!!! Good job Trev!!!!

High School Musical Jr.

We went to see Tayvia in her debut of Sharpey Evans in High School Musical Jr. that Fossil Ridge Intermeidate was putting on. She was adorable!!!! It happened that almost everyone in the family chose the same night to go and support Tayvia. We thoroughly enjoyed watching her strut her stuff. She was definately a "Show Stealer", she was amazing and so cute!!! I love it when the whole family comes together to support one another. Families are Forever!!!!

Fun with Avenna-tula!!!!

We love it when my brothers or sisters call to have us babysit. Well, Becca asked us to babysit Avenna while they went to the temple. We had so much fun with her. She is just adorable and we love having a baby in our home for a few hours.

Finally....

I finally have found some time to update my blog. I have been a little busy with everything, but it has been weighing on my mind to get it updated. Since I am using this as my family journal, I have got to keep it up to date for my blog to be printed some day. I finished the pageant and that turned out FABULOUS!!! Then the next week I had Stake Leadership Meeting and the Ivins Stake Tri-A-tholon and now I can relax until Wednesday. After the pageant, the Mayor of Ivins asked if he could interview me on TV about the production of the pageant. He was very impressed with the whole show and told me, "He was very proud to be the mayor of Ivins at that moment". WOW!!! So on Wednesday at 5:00pm he will be interviewing me and the outgoing and incoming royalty. I DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS!!!! That's all I need is for the TV to add 10 more pounds to me. hahahaha I will of course take some pictures and have another post. So, enjoy what I've got so far. I Love my LIFE!!!

Senior Picture

Cambria was asked to be a model for Simple Photography for Senior Pictures. I have more pictures coming. The lady found Cam on facebook and she and I went and met with her at Orangepeel and signed the papers. Kind of weird way to do business or to find your models, that's why I went with her. Very nice lady and very legit.

Cambria's Senior Ball 2010

Cambria went to Senior Ball with Brody Faucett. She and Brody are good friends and wanted their last dance to be together. Brody picked her up at 6:00am and took her to New Harmony to go fishing. Well, needless to say, it was too cold and the fish were NOT biting. Cam came home at 10:00am because Brody had a track meet. He then was going to pick her up at 6:30pm, but his car broke down. His mom ended up coming to pick Cambria up for the dance while Brody got cleaned up and ready for the dance. Cambria always enjoys Brody's company and had a great time with him. Brody's mom took some pictures of the two of them and will be sending some my way.

Cecilee's Senior Ball

Cecilee went to Senior Ball with Brad Wood. He came and picked her up at 9:30am and they went and played "capture the flag" with their group of 12 people (6 couples). Their color was black, so they went with the Ninja theme. Cecilee had alot of fun, she's quite the athlete, so she totally enjoyed doing something like this. Brad then came back and picked her up for the dance at 5:30pm. She had so much fun.
