Football Season comes to an end

It's bitter sweet at this time of year. I get my husband back because football season has ended. His football team had a great season and Bryan had a blast with the coaches that he coached with. Their JV team took Region this year. These boys were so much fun to watch and to see how much they worked as a team. I love to watch my husband coach and see how much fun he is having.

Happy 40th Anniversary to my MOM & DAD

October 25th was my mom and dad's 40th anniversary. All of us kids decided to put something together for our deserving parents. They never had a wedding reception so we decided to do one for them for the family. Irene invited them to her home for dinner, but we had decorated the clubhouse with beautiful tables with centerpieces, wedding cake and decorations. Irene blindfolded them and brought them over and we revealed their dinner and told them, "This is the product of 40 years of marriage" and they saw all of us kids with all of their grandchildren. My parents just burst into tears. They have had a wonderful 40 years together and have all of us to show for it.

I love my parents so much and appreciate all they have done to make my life so wonderful. They have been wonderful examples of a happily married couple.

We had a great evening with them. Irene put together a polynesian show with all of the grandkids that performed. They cut their wedding cake and we had a photographer that took pictures all evening and a huge family picture. Our family just gets bigger and bigger every year. This past year our family has grown by 5 more people. We love how big our family is getting. We have 2 new babies and 3 others who will be marrying into our family-Becca, Josh and Devan. We are so excited to have them join our family in December. Families are AWESOME and I don't know what I would do without mine. I don't ever want to know or ever think about it.

Strange & Quirkey Things About Me- I've been TaGGED!!!

I've been TGGED!!! Thanks a bunch Ammie!!! I've been told by my kids that I have lots of strange things about me. So here are a few:

1- I am an early riser (5:30am) everyday and I expire at 8:30-9:00pm (everybody that knows me knows that I am NOT a night person. Whether my kids are a sleep or not, I am in my bed.

2- My favorite thing to do on my day off of work is CLEAN my HOUSE!!!! I love to do dishes, I love to clean. You would think that my house would be spotless.

3- I've been on the HCG Diet for the last 4 months. Anyone that knows anything about this diet it's quirkey in itself, but it works. You take hormone shots and eat only 500 calories. I have lost 43 pounds since June 24th and I have 15 more pounds to go.

4- I go grocery shopping at 6:00am to avoid crowds.

5- You will never (maybe not never, but rarely) ever see me at a restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night. I am crowdafobic. I HATE crowds, lines, and irritating people. hahaha

6- I have to brush my teeth as soon as I wake up in the morning. Yes, I know alot of people have to eat before they brush, but I think that is disgusting, and I have to brush before I eat or do anything.

If I think of anything else, which I know there are, I will add them. I tag Camille, Katie Smith, & Aubri Jo. Love ya'll

My Husband the Football Coach

Bryan and his assistant Matua - Bryan loves this guy and has had a great time coaching with him.
Bryan and Gough - Defense and Offense Coordinators

Bryan coaching!!!

Bryan has been coaching high school football for the last two years and has loved every minute of it. He loves the interaction that he has with the boys and loves the game (of course). The Head Coach last year stood up and opened his remarks with, "We interupt this marriage to bring you FOOTBALL SEASON." I laughed at that, but you have NO idea how true that statement is. After all of the years of watching Bryan play football and my brothers and now my son, you would think that I would know the game, well ---- I DON'T!!!!

Congratulations to my Cecilee who played her first year of high school soccer. As a Freshman she had the opportunity to play Varsity the whole season. She had a blast with all of the girls. She played most forward, midfield and goalie. It was so fun to watch her this season.

I felt to fortunate to be able to be with them through the whole experience. What a beautiful experience it was to witness Major come into this world. Andy and Tia are going to be wonderful parents. Andy has already taken over his role as protector!!! He was watching the nurses every move with that baby. Tia grew up right before my eyes, watching her go into motherhood. I love you guys so much and I cannot get enough of this little guy. He is going to be so much fun watching grow-up. Love you Tia and Andy.

"TREVEY WEVEY"

Have you ever had one of those Aunts that come and you try to avoid? Well Trevor has one, Aunty Irene. She loves to come into the house and yell "Trevey Wevey". Trevor cringes when he hears her and tries to run but she always seems to catch him and smother him with kisses. Some day real soon, he will be taller and bigger than her. He pretends that he doesn't like it, but deep down I think he enjoys it!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DADDY!!!!

September 27th, 1950 was a great day, my dad was born and history began for our family!!!! I just wanted to spotlight my dad and thank him for all he has done for our family growing up. I remember him waking up at 4:00am to drive to Los Angeles for work about 1 1/2 hrs. away and work all day and drive home 2 hrs. because the traffic was bumper to bumper on the freeways. Then come home late and go up to the church to fulfill his calling as Bishop. What a great example he continues to be to our family. I love my dad so much and always love to see him and my mom walk into football, soccer games and pageants and parades for the kids. They are always there to support. My dad also has a smile that is contagious!!! He love LIFE and it shows in his smile and the way he carries himself. I love you DAD!!!!
