Who needs HAIR?

Trevor shaved his hair the other night and his friend, Chandler wanted his hair like that too. So as Trevor was shaving his hair, the guard came off and was right to the blade. OOpps!!! Trevor felt so bad that it looked like he was going to cry, because he felt so bad. So Trevor told Chandler that he would shave his head also, so that he wouldn't feel bad. (I was so proud of him that he would come up with that all on his own.) Good thing hair grows back and IT's SUMMER.

Happy Birthday Cambria!!!

We made a yummy triple chocolate cake with white fluffy frosting topped with fresh strawberries.
Cambria and her friend that she has grown up with, Morgan, share the same birthday.
Grandma AhQuin bought Cambria's birthday cake.
Cambria and Grandpa AhQuin cuddle for a picture.

My oldest is now 17 and I can't believe how time has just flown by. I feel very blessed to be her mother. She has ALWAYS been such a great example to me and her father as well as her siblings. She amazes me at how involved and busy she likes to stay. She is on the seminary council, a cheerleader, works 2 jobs and keeps a 4.0 GPA. I love the friendship that I share with her. I can't believe that she will be graduating in one year and then off to college.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend cheer camp with my daughter since it is her Senior year. The girls went to Pepperdine University in Malibu California. We had a blast, as moms. The girls worked from 8:00 to 8:00 cheering, stunting, dancing and learning. They worked so hard and if you have been to the campus, you know that there is ALOT of stairs and a very large campus. They walked and climbed lots of stairs. At the end of camp there was an award ceremony and our squad received 3 first place trophys and the spirit stick. They also received the most sought after award, "The Leadership" Award. That was voted on by all of the squads. It was so much fun for all of the girls. There were a few girls that had never seen the ocean, been to the beach or to California. It was fun to see their faces. I can't believe my daughter is a senior. They had a senior ceremony at the end of the awards ceremony and that totally took all of the moms by surprise. We all just got teary eyed. Life seems to be going toooo fast. I am taking every opportunity to make more memories for me to hang on to.

We went to Glendale, Utah for the 4th. Bryan's parents have some property there and everyone of Bryan's brother's and sister were there with their families. They all camped and ate around a campfire. Went shooting, riding on the quads/mule & golfcart. They had so much fun with all of their cousins and grandma and grandpa.
