June 22, 1991 was the happiest day of my life, at that time of my life.
I was so excited to be marrying my high school sweetheart and love of my life.
Bryan was everything that I wanted in a husband and father.
He was a lot like my dad: a hard worker, a man who honored his priesthood, he always
took care of me and was always so loving with me, loved my family, so funny, athletic,
strong testimony of the gospel and loved kids.
I knew that he would be a good father, because his dad was his example.
He could not do enough for me and was always looking out for my best interest.
He came to pick me up from my house in the morning so we could drive to the
Los Angeles Temple together, since it was an hour drive.
We got there to the temple and changed and everything went as planned.
We were sealed for time and all eternity, went out and took pictures with friends & family
and my mom happened to take all of my things and left to meet the caterer.
When it came time for us to leave, Bryan's keys were in my purse that my mom took home,
which was an hour away. We ended up driving home with our photographer & their
2 kids in their mini van with cheerios all around us.
We didn't care one bit, WE WERE MARRIED and that was all that mattered!!!
Looking back on 26 wonderful years life is FABULOUS with this man by my side. He still loves me like he did on the day we were married 26 years ago. I think we adore each other even more than we did on that day. We have been through so many ups and downs but together we can do it all. We have been blessed with 4 beautiful children who 2 of them have chosen wonderful men to add to our family. We love them just like our own children. We have truly been blessed.
