Thriller at Tuacahn

It's another year of Thriller at Tuacahn.

I've been working at Tuacahn for 7 years now and Thriller

is one of my favorite parts of Tuacahn.  I especially love working with

my baby and get to see her working in concessions.  

Tazz and Mia meet for the first time

 Tia and her boys came over to see Mia for the first time and she

was pretty excited to see her and compare the two cousins that are 6 1/2 weeks apart.

Tazz looked like a giant compared to Mia. 

It was so cute to watch Tia and Cecilee with each other's babies and just smile

to think that it wasn't long ago that Tia was carrying Cecilee on her hip at 8 yrs old,

Major's age right now. 

WE ARE GRANDPARENTS!!!!

 Bryan and I took the opportunity to go to the hospital and 

visit Cec, Angel and Mia while nobody was there so that we could

enjoy some peace and quite with just them and the baby.

We just stared at this little precious baby straight from heaven and

wonder, "What did your Great Grandpa tell you about us?"

I know he told you all about us, because he loves to brag about his family. 

Mia 24 hours old

 Look at this absolutely adorable baby girl who came straight from heaven!

We are all so amazed at her beauty and sweetness. 

We feel so blessed to have her as a part of our family! 

 

Cecilee's Labor & Delivery

 Cecilee went to the Dr. for her routine checkup and asked him

if he would strip her membranes, since she is dilated to a 4cm for the last

3 weeks. He agreed and while doing so he accidentally broke her water!

He looked at her and Angel and said, get to the hospital!

She was soaked and continued to leak out water as she walked there and 

through the halls of the hospital.

The nurse said, " there was NO denying that her water broke!"

She decided to go natural and NOT have an epidural, she was doing really

well until she got to a 7cm and she looked at Angel and said,

"I want an epidural" Angel tried to remind her that her birthplan was

NO EPIDURAL.

She wouldn't have it! So the nurse came in Angel told her she went and

got the consent form, Cecilee signed it HAPPILY and they went and

got the Anesthesiologist 

He came in and minutes later she was a happy camper.

5 hours later Mia Amor Orpinela was born.

7lb 2 oz  -  19 3/4" long

Sunday with Trevor home

 I always try to get a family picture of all of us when we are all together.

Trevor came home for the weekend and went to church with us and then 

traveled back. But after church we got our last family photo before it changed

and Mia was born a few days later. 

I love my family!!

It's so much fun to hang out with them at the Ute Walk, Tailgate and Game. 

UTAH vs USC Game

 Cambria, Jeff, Bryan and Sydnee all traveled to California to

go watch Trevor play in the USC game against Utah.

They stayed at Debbie's beach house and went and saw Trevor during

visiting hours at the hotel.

Then headed to the Coliseum and toured the University.  

Bryan caught up with John Palo and Matt Bartlett (HS football buddies)

and they were so excited that Herbie had a son on the field.

UTAH vs Stanford Game

We couldn't got to Trevor's game against STANFORD because of Raya's wedding.

So we asked Bryan's parents and Charles & Christene if they wanted

the tickets and can go and support Trevor for us.

They were so excited and had so much fun!! Christene kept me updated

with plenty of pictures. 

 They even went to the Tailgate with all of the families at the 

Football Facility. Dad said that Coach Wittingham came up to him and 

shook his hand and asked him his name,

he told him Richard Horlacher.

Wittingham them said, "I have a Horlacher on my team"

Dad told him that that was his grandson.

Wittingham told him "He's a good kid" 

 They even waited for Trevor like we do after the game to see him

and get pictures with him. 

Raya & Robbie's Wedding Day

Raya and Robbie got married in the St. George Temple 

with lots of family and friends in attendance. 

It was a beautiful day to witness this special ordinance and their love.

It was so nice to see Max in the temple with his whole family.

Trevor was unable to be there because UTAH football was playing Stanford.
