Darn-Bloody Soccer

Cecilee participated in a soccer tournament this weekend and this was the only picture that I got, thanks to her coach who took this picture, because Cecilee asked him to take it before he wrapped it up so she could go back in and play. She slid on the sandpaper grass and tore up her thigh. She felt wetness and touched her leg and had blood all over her hand. She told the ref and he blew the whistle, ran up to her face and yelled, "YOU ARE OUT!!!" She said, "What, why?" He then told her, "You're bleeding. OUT!" So she ran off the field and her coaches wrapped her up and put her back in. She loves taking pictures of her war wounds. She just loves soccer.

Basketball Season Over & Beginning

Trevor played with this team for the past 5 weeks with 2 games every Saturday. He had alot of fun with these boys. After the last game the following week they had Boarder League Tryouts with about 40 boys trying out. They have two teams of 10 boys on each team. Trevor hasn't had a whole lot of experience with Basketball, but he enjoys playing. He's not as confident as he is in Football and Soccer, but wanted to give it a try. He made first cuts and then came the final cuts. He made it. One of the coaches said, "Trevor's not a polished basketball player, but he is a true athlete." So I guess, that's what helped him out. We love watching Trevor play any sport.

President's Day

Our Grandma Horlacher who is 103 years old.
The hands of Grandma Horlacher and Aunt Carol.

President's weekend has always been a Horlacher Family tradition to have a family get together every year for as long as I can remember becoming a member of the family. Grandma Horlacher's birthday is just a few weeks away and so they have always celebrated her birthday early. So we celebrated her 103rd birthday. We went to the Beehive Home, where she lives, and sang old time songs with her. All of her kids came with their spouses and Bryan and I and our kids. We love spending time with her. She is an amazing woman.

Aunt Joyce, was showing Grandma her bell that she received from the President of the United States, for being Principal of the Year. She has been a principal for 13 years in Albequerque, New Mexico. She loved ringing the bell.
Five of her children and their spouses and a neice and her husband all pose with Grandma

Valentines Day !!!!

Valentines morning was wonderful. I wanted to make it special for my children and the love of my life. So I set the table all in valentines and red and hung some streamers, etc. Bryan helped me and we made waffles with cream and strawberries, ham steaks and red juice. The kids were so excited, I had their valentine boxes with their choclates and a treat. We had such a great breakfast together, considering our church is at 9:00. I then told the kids to get dressed, just to make sure they wear something red. I think they all did a great job in picking out their outfits. I love my family so much!!! My kids are mine and Bryan's valentines days gone past. hahahaI forgot to get a picture before breakfast, so this was taken after breakfast.
My four kids after church
The girls all love to tease Trevor and try to hug and kiss him all of the time. I tried to get him to just let them on Valentines Day, but he still wasn't going for it.
Cam wanted a picture with me and Bryan, after taking a few of just us.
Me and my forever boyfriend. I love this guy!!!

Elementary Valentine

Friday was the last time I would have to make a valentines box with my last kid in elementary. Wow, I have made about 20 of those boxes through the years. I can't believe this will be my last one. Sydnee was excited for her valentines party and giving out her valentines. I made cupcakes for the kids when they got home from school. They were so excited and I felt like Martha Stewart. I love valentines day!!!

I LOVE ........!!!!

The baby of our family, Sydnee who sometimes seems to get neglected or forgotten about with everything else so busy in our lives. She has brought so much joy to our family and I can't even believe that she is growing up. She loves her brother and sisters so much and is such a Daddy's girl. I love her so much.
Bryan's parents are amazing people who have done an amazing job raising their son, my husband. My kids love their grandparents.
My parents are my example of the marriage and parents that I want to have. They have done a great job in raising all 7 of us kids and now a great example of wonderful grandparents. Always there for their grandkids games, pageants, performances, etc. I love them so much and appreciate all they have done for me and continue to do for me.
My brothers and sisters mean so much to me. I am the oldest and have always felt like I needed to always take care of them. I love running into them in town and I love the hugs and kisses that we share when we greet each other. I love them and the examples that they are to me in my life. I love that we have so many children between all 7 of us, there are 23 children for our next generation. I love that all 7 of us love to be together and have a great time with each other. I love all of the spouses that they chose and the wonderful additions that they are to our eternal family. Life can't get any better than this.
My Job at Simister Orthodontics has been a blessing in my life. I love the two doctors that I work for and the girls in the office that I work with. We are all so close, it's like another family that I am a part of. I love going to work and spending time with those that I work with.

Hanging out with our family. I love spending time with our kids and just laying around and talking about LIFE. That has got to be our favorite time of the day, sitting with the kids and talking about BOYS, DRAMA, STUPID GIRLS, etc. We love having Tia and Andy and of course MAJOR over all the time. Tia has always been a part of our family and continues to be such a great example for my girls. Whenever they have news or need someone to talk to they turn to Aunty Tia. Life is good!!!
Watching my kids play together and enjoy each other. I love it more than anything to watch my kids LOVE each other and be nice to each other. I love hearing them get along, laugh and help one another. That makes my heart just swell with love for my family and makes me enjoy being a mom. Thinking that I am doing something right.
The man of my dreams came into my life when I was 13 years old. I had NO idea that he was the one but I am so glad that we have been together for so long. We've been through high school together, a mission to Sydney Australia together, 4 beautiful children together and now going to experience our oldest childs graduation together. WOW, life has sure gone by fast. We have enjoyed every stage. I love my life with my high school sweetheart. Bryan is such an amazing man, he puts up with so much from me. I love the hard worker that is is for our family. I love how he calls me BEAUTIFUL, even though I'm not. I love when he gets home and my heart still skips a beat and I can't wait to see him. I love when he comes home from work, the first thing he says to the kids when he walks into the house is, "Where's mom?". I love that he still finds me attractive after all these years, even though I most definately don't look like I did back in the day. I love the grey hair that both of us are experiencing together. We just laugh because we truly are GROWING OLD together and I wouldn't want it any other way!!! I love him so much!!!!
I love our children that they are a part of Bryan and a part of me. I love them more than anything in this world. I will do ANYTHING for my kids and husband to make their lives better. I love being their mother and I feel very honored to have been so blessed with such amazing children. I love talking to them about the BOYS in their lives and their friends and any other DRAMA that comes out. I love that they share EVERYTHING with me and are not afraid and trust me with their secrets. I've loved every stage of their lives and coming upon graduation makes me sad because 18 years have gone so fast. She will be an adult. OH MY GOSH, I will have raised an ADULT. (I remember after Cambria was born I was so scared. I watched her breath and I hardly slept for the first month. If I was tired I would pray to my Heavenly Father and beg him to please watch over her while I closed my eyes just for a few minutes. When she was a month old I told Bryan, Oh My Gosh, I've kept her alive for a whole month. Hej ust looked at me and was bewildered. I was so proud of myself, I couldn't even keep fish or plants alive. So now that its 17 years and I have 4 children and I've raised them, WOW, I'm doing pretty good.) I love being a part of their lives and I love being involved in anything that they are involved in.(I remember when Cambria was in kindergarten and I attended my very first PTA meeting and I stood there and thought to myself, "Oh my gosh, I have turned into my mother, I'm at a PTA meeting.") My mom was always involved in everything that had to do with us kids. She always said that if she wanted to make a difference and make it better for her kids she needed to be involved. So that's where I got my thinking from. I love being involved.

Of course there are lots of other things that I love that I didn't have pictures of, like the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ. I love that I have a blueprint for my life. I love the Book Of MOrmon and the opportunity that I have every morning at 6:15am to gather my children around and read from it, even though sometimes a few of them sleep through it, WE TRY!!! I love my home and the neighborhood that I live in and the wonderful friends and neighbors that I have that surround me and are wonderful examples and help me raise my children. I love my life and am so grateful for the blessings that I have that bring me so much joy. Happy LOVE day to all those that I love.

Envelope Please

I didn't know that I would have to teach my daughter how to address an envelope in high school. She was sending off some scholarship applications and I told her, "Cam, make sure you address it right and write nicely." She says, "I know mom, don't worry, I think I know how to address an envelope." Well she's done and hands it to me and I look at her and say, "Are you serious?" So here is the original envelope and here she is addressing another envelope. We had such a GREAT laugh. Can you even imagine if we would've sent it like that.
