SURPRISE on my 47th Birthday

I had a great surprise on my 47th Birthday.
7 Years ago we had a foreign exchange student live with us for 6 months from Brazil
and her name is Paula. She immediately felt like a family member.
We have missed her and had hoped that we would see her for Cambria's Graduation,
Wedding or Cecilee's Wedding, but didn't work out.
We were eating dinner at Anasazi Steak House and in walked this girl towards our
table and I just smiled at her because I thought she was passing by, but as she
got closer, I recognized her as PAULA!!!!
Oh my goodness, I jumped up and hugged her and just cried.
It felt like being reunited with one of my own children. Oh it was so wonderful!!!
I guess Cambria had been planning with Paula this surprise for a little while.
We were so excited to be able to spend 10 days with Paula and relive
memories from 7 years ago. We went everywhere and she got to see so many wonderful
people that played a big part in her life.

Paula's boyfriend just opened a hamburger restaurant in Brazil.
So of course we wanted her to see all of the different burgers here in St. George
to get some ideas for her boyfriend.
We took family pictures with Paula and Cambria and Jeff did amazing
capturing that moment with their photography skills
Zions with Cambria and the St. George Temple

Family Dinner
Adult Hip Hop at the Vault with Aunty Tia and the girls
 Chandler Martineau's mission homecoming report
Paula with Grandma and Grandpa Horlacher
Girls lunch and pamper day with pedicures.
We went to SCHS football game against DHHS and she got to see
Nic Bott and watch Sydnee Cheer.
We have a family tradition of going to see THRILLER at Tuacahn,
so Paula happened to be here for that.
Cambria took her to go see the high school and she got to see
Mr. Ward whom she just loved during high school.

 Saying GOODBYE was hard again!
Cambria and Cecilee took her to Las Vegas to catch her flight, but
of course they had to tour the strip and get some fun pictures.
Hopefully it's not another 7 years before we see her again.
We love her so much
