Stent #3

Lately Bryan had been having some issues sleeping and breathing at night but always seemed to be able to get it under control and get some sleep. Well this day was a little different. Bryan had gone to play pickleball with Trevor, Kylee and JR and came home to watch the UTAH FOOTBALL GAME at the Rose Bowl. After everyone left, I went to bed at 10:00pm and Sydnee was up with Bryan watching a little football (which was a tender mercy and out of the ordinary). She watched Bryan lock the front door and was going to go take a bath and asked if he was going to go to bed now. He told her I'm having a little chest pain and so I will wait. She started asking questions and went to the cupboard and found his Nitroglycerin and told him to take one and he wouldn't. She came in and woke me up and I jumped out of bed and found Bryan taking his blood pressure, I happened to see it said, 200/120 and told him sternly I'm getting dressed and we are going to the hospital get your shoes on!!! Put this under your tongue. I came back and he said he was feeling better and I told him too bad we are going. Either you get in the car or I call 911 and make a scene in our neighborhood. He decided to go to the car.
Sydnee was so sweet and concerned she said "Mom I will drive". She got us to the ER and we walked in while she parked the car. They took Bryan back and did all of the chest pain protocols and had us sit in the waiting room and then took us back.
They drew his blood to see what his Troponin levels were since that will tell them if he had a heart attack. His numbers came back at .06 and .05 is normal. So they wanted to keep him and draw more blood in 6 hours to check the numbers again. If he had one it will be elevated. They put us in the room OU37 and all 3 of us just chilled and waited. They took his blood again and again and again and it came back .06 again. They didn't understand what was going on so they did a stress test later on Monday morning and it came back abnormal. So they needed to do an angiogram and see if there happened to be a blockage somewhere.
They found the blockage and it was 98% blocked. The Dr. said we probably would've been back but under different circumstances. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER for guiding Sydnee and Myself and getting Bryan to the hospital for help. I cannot thank my Heavenly Father enough for this blessing and allowing Bryan to stay here on earth with our family. He is meant to be here and do the work he has for him.
We were blessed with a great Dr. Owan who was so caring and personable and explained everything to us and made me feel more comfortable about this whole situation.
I love my husband so much and I want to do whatever I can do to help him feel his best and do what we need to do to get healthier. THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER, I will not take this for granted and I will make the changes for us to stay around for our family.
