Youth Conference

BK & Trevor shooting out the end of the Water Torpedo.
The girls from the 9th Ward challenged the boys from the 9th Ward to a tug o war. First match was the girls and their leaders against the boys. Well the girls ended up winning, so the boys said, "NO LEADERS" so they challenged them again with NO LEADERS.

We won again!!! Take a closer look and see why we won!! hahahaha

They never saw the help that we got, we just let them continue to think that we won. hahaa

Youth Conference for the Ivins Stake was held at home this year and was a total success. We started on Thursday morning and went until Saturday afternoon. The kids had an absolute blast. They started off with meeting at the Tabernacle and getting to know you games, then went swimming at the Ence's pool and other activities then ended the evening with watching, "17 Miracles". Amazing movie-the youth were suppose to watch The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn, but it wasn't ready to be seen, so the bishop from our ward was able to get a hold of a copy of the movie "17 Miracles" and we had our own preview, since they were previewing it in Salt Lake City and Opening Night was planned for Friday night. The movie was incredible, some of the miracles that took place, could've ONLY been miracles. They were amazing. "Faith Precedes The Miracle"

The next day started off with breakfast and then onto a History Tour with their groups. They went to the Jacob Hamlin Home, Brigham Young's Home, The Visitor Center and a Movie at the Visitor Center. Afterwards they heard Hyrum Smith speak and then a water park fun at the park. They had a huge slip n slide, a dunk tank, tug o war, a big blow up torpedo slide, water volleyball, etc. The kids had a blast. They ended the evening with an etiquette dinner and dance. My son had fun with his little entourage of friends, and the little girls were having fun watching their every move.

Saturday ended up with a wonderful dutchoven breakfast, speakers and testimony meeting. The kids seem to enjoy the movie "17 Miracles", so many of them expressed their love for the pioneers and the incredible miracles that took place. It was a great youth conference.
