Trick or Treating at SCHS

We took Major Trick or Treating at Snow Canyon High School.

Sydnee and Aspen wanted to get checked out of school to take him.

Legend was sick that day so only Major got to go.

He got sooo much candy he said that his pumpkin was going to break.

Halloween Night at Echo's

 My friend Echo goes all out on Halloween Night.

She has a group of kids dancing to Thriller and Trevor came and sat at the ticket counter and scared people, until he scared a little kid and the kid starting crying. 

That made him not want to scare anyone anymore.

Echo's Spooky Fun House

 Every year I take my family to visit Echo's Halloween House.

She spends so much time decorating, costuming and getting ready for this holiday.

This year everyone enjoyed the festivities.

SURPRISE Sydnee!!!

 Sydnee's friends got together and wanted to do a surprise party for her.

The big surprise was that it was a week earlier than her birthday.

They had so much fun surprising her.

As the rain started to fall and the wind calmed at Cougar field, the Lady Cougars had seized momentum and eventually they led eight minutes later. Horlacher, who is the Lady Cougars’ regular goalkeeper, moved to a field position in the second half to help aide the front line attack and it paid dividends for first-year head coach Aaron Avila.   Taking a throw-in from Courtney Galliher, Horlacher crossed a pass through the box to Ruth Cazier and Barton had their first lead of the game.  Barron then gave Barton a two goal cushion midway through the half taking Jessica Rosenberg’s pass from midfield to chip shot a thirty-two yard kick over Hughes.   Barron wound up her five goal day punching in a deflection off of Cazier’s corner kick with five minutes to play.

FROM THE BARTON NEWSPAPER on October 22nd - However a patient Barton offensive attack stated chipping away at the Panther defense until twenty-five minutes into the contest when the Lady Cougars broke through with it's first goal. Subbing in Cecilee Horlacher, whose been pushed into field duty due to key offensive injuries for the Lady Cougars instead of her normal starting Goalkeeper position, contributed her second assist of the season as she drew Neosho keeper Haylee Merrill away from goal to open up a land for Bianca Barron and cross it over. Barron, beat her Panther defender and delivered a sliding kick past the diving goalkeeper.

I received a text from my brother Clay that read, "Did you see that Trevor led the Region 9 conference in tackles for the football season? I didn't so it was a great surprise.

The other day while at a funeral, I was talking to a gentleman who we have known for a long time and he was asking me about my kids and I was talking about Cecilee and her success in Kansas and happened to say HORLACHER.  Another gentleman said, "excuse me-did I hear you say HORLACHER?" I said, "yes" and he asked me, does that have any relation to the HORLACHER from Snow Canyon #31?" I looked at him and said, "Yes that's my son" He just exploded with compliments, "Oh my goodness, that kid is a beast!!! I watched him at Dixie, Pine View and Hurricane and was so impressed with the way he plays. He leads the region in tackles, etc." I was dumbfounded and thought that it was so funny. He apologized for eavesdropping and shook my hand and said, "I am so glad he's a Junior, so I can watch more of him next year." and then he left. 

He's had a great year of football and it's been fun to watch him excel.

Cambria's Friends are getting married

My Bday Deep Conditioning

My Birthday was wonderful!

I had a lash appt. that morning and my lash lady surprised me with a FREE fill for my bday.

Then Tia and her boys wanted to take me to the mall and buy me some clothes. 

It was wonderful spending the morning with her & those 2 little munchkins!!

Then I met Irene at Paul Mitchell and we both got Scalp Massage & Deep Conditioning.

Holy Moly that felt soooo good!!!

Then I came home to a clean house, dinner outside by the pool with my family!

Grandpa Horlacher tried to be at all of Trevor's games.

Ammon loves to watch his older cousins play, Ammon is 11yrs and in the 6th grade.

Kansas Surprise!!!

Cambria, Jeff and Bryan had bought me tickets to Kansas to go and see Cecilee for my birthday!
I was soooo excited I could hardly contain myself!
My first view of Kansas, I was soooo excited I couldn't wait to hug my girl!!!

It was a 2 hour flight and the seats were pretty comfortable, we flew Alligient.

I had contacted Cecilee's roommate and let her know that we were coming into town and wanted to surprise Cecilee.

She and a bunch of girlfriends were going to dinner to a mexican restaurant and so we decided to surprise her there. She told Cecilee that her boyfriend was coming into town with a friend and he was going to meet them at dinner. Cecilee kept saying, "Your boyfriend had better know what he wants to order when he gets here because I am starving!!!"

Katelyn came and met us outside and we walked in with her.

Cecilee was eating chips and salsa and was in midstream of dipping her chip when she saw me.

She said, "Mom, Mom, Mom!" and starred like she couldn't believe it and then ran to me and hugged me and bawled like a baby. She wouldn't let go of me, of course I was crying and everyone at the table was crying. Then she saw Bryan and she ran to him and hugged him.

It was the best surprise ever!!!

She kept saying, "I can't believe you guys are here!"

During dinner Cecilee and her friends had them sing, "Happy Birthday " To me

and after they sang they pie'd me in the face. (NOT HAPPY!)

Cecilee said, "Mom don't be a DIVA!"

Totally did not expect to have cream all smashed in my face in a packed restaurant.

After dinner we went back to her dorm room to see it.

She had a bunch of pictures on her closet door.

The next morning we went back to pick Cecilee up for breakfast and got to see Barton in the daylight.

At breakfast, Cecilee told us that Friday at practice she played the field because the coach didn't want goalies. Then she proceeded to tell us, "Mom, I dominated!!! the field! I'm not bragging but I know my coach saw that I could help on the field"  She said that he didn't say anything at practice but she could tell by the look on his face and all of the girls were saying, "Cecilee, why don't you play field? Goalies usually don't have that kind of footwork." She loved practice that day, so she said we will see what happens in this game today.

We took he shopping after breakfast to get food, jacket and a chair and umbrella for us to watch the game.

It was so wonderful to spend that time with just her and focus all on our Cec-So-Sweet!!

Then she went to warm up doing strickly GOALIE warmups.

These are the programs for every single game.

Every game they have the college that they are playing, the stats and the team rosters for both teams.           And their ranking.

Cecilee during the game made a number of saves, but there were alot of  PC's that 

this certain girl from the other team scored.

She had that kick mastered, barely under the crossbar-skimming the net and a little too high for Cec to get.

So they were down at halftime 1-4

Before the game started the guy that posts on facebook the updates of Barton's games, thought he saw something on facebook about me being in town. He asked Cecilee if her mom was in town and when she said yes, he said, "I have to go over and meet our #1 cheerleader from Utah and on Facebook!"

He came over and met us and while visiting he mentioned that the coach might play Cecilee on the field today.

So after the first half I saw the girls go to their circle to listen to their coach and didn't see Cecilee, then I saw her come from the tent and she was in a white uniform.

He is really going to play her on the field.

Well the game started and Cecilee was out there.

She played AWESOME!!!

She brings an intensity to the field like no other!!!

She shutdown that girl and kept her from scoring again.

I could tell that she was quite winded but her adrenaline kept her playing hard!

Cecilee played the whole 2nd half on the field except for 10 minutes.

She took a girl out with a concussion and that's when her coach felt like he needed to give Cec a break.

The girl didn't realize that Cecilee is a brickwall.

She almost had 2 goals, but she had a few assists.

The final score was 7-4 we won!!!

Cecilee definately was the game changer according to the coach and the boys soccer team!

During the boys game it started raining and the clouds rolled in and a Tornado Warning was sounded.

OMG are you serious, I am going to experience all of KANSAS?

This was Sunday, we went to church and then brought her back to her dorm before we left for the airport. It was a 2 hour drive from Wichita, Kansas.

I didn't even cry, I could see how much she was loved by her ward, her teammates, her friends, & roommate and that she is happy!!!
