Christmas Day with the Family
Christmas Morning
*****************
We had a beautiful christmas morning. Trevor woke up at 1:00am and said was in amazement but knew NOBODY would wake up then, so he went back to sleep and waited till 4:45 to wake everyone up. We all joined at the tree, had a beautiful christmas prayer and opened presents. We had alot of laughs, duct tape, wrapping paper, hugs and thank you's. Santa brought a WII for the whole family, so of course the kids couldn't wait to get that thing hooked up.

Annual Caroling with the Family
***************
Every year we get together as a family and go caroling and there always seems to be a special visitor that makes his appearance. My sister Irene was in charge this year and she did a great job. We all brought soups and went caroling in the back of Bryan's trailer. It was a little cold, but we kept each otehr warm, by just being together and making memories.
My Little Elf Trevor
This Christmas season hasn't really felt like Christmas, I couldn't put my finger on it, I just think that working so much and running from one thing to another just hinders the feeling of the Christmas season. Well the other night, all of my girls were gone for the evening and Bryan was going to bed, so he talked to Trevor and told him that he wanted him to stay by my side and do whatever I needed to help me out. So Trevor said, "Mom, what do you need me to do first?" I had him crush my oreos, graham crackers and then I remembered I had presents for the girls, so I had him wrap their presents. He said,' Mom, are you sure you want me to wrap, can I do it ANYWAY I want, and can I use as much duct tape as I want?" at this point, as long as I didn't have to wrap, I didn't care, how he wrapped them. I watched him wrap the boxes first and he did a pretty good job, not quite as straight as I would've wanted them, but I was NOT micro managing, so I let it go. Then I watched him pick up the curling iron and he said to himself, this ones going to be tricky. I went on with my business and looked over a few minutes later and he used all of the scraps that he had cut off the other presents to wrap this one. I was just laughing inside, he had three different wrapping papers going on. It didn't look bad at all, it looked like a quilt. I then told him that I had tags to attach to the presents. and he said, "Oh mom, I didn't need them, and held up a present and he had taken a BLACK sharpie and written ON THE PRESENT "TO Cam" and FROM ? I then told him about the ribbon and he said, "It;s OK, it looks good enough without it". Oh My Goodness, he made my night, what do you expect from a 13 year old boy. He is such a sweetheart!!!! I want to remember this night, that's why I chose to put it on my blog.

Gingerbread houses with our Ohana
Bryan's Birthday - DAY
**************************************
Well Bryan's birthday was actually Saturday and we let him pick what we did that day. Well when he got home from work that morning at 6:30am he came into the house and let us know that it had snowed. Well Trevor woke right up and ran outside so excited. He ended up getting on some clothes and went out with Bryan and started rolling the snow into a big snowball. Then he was on a mission to build a snowman. He came in and Cecilee happened to wake up and heard Trevor getting warmer clothes on to go outside and build a snowman. She immediately put some clothes on and went outside with Trevor. The two of them were outside for about a half hour building their snowman. It ended up being 6 balls high (6 1/2 ft) tall. They were so excited. What a great way to start our Saturday. We made Bryan an omelet for his birthday breakfast. Then he wanted to go and see the new movie "OLD DOGS". I dislike going to the movies, I don't enjoy it one bit. I guess remembering when I was a kid and sticking to the floor in the dark and sitting on the contaminted, yucky chairs makes me NOT enjoy going to the movies, but it was his birthday and I decided to do WHATEVER he wanted, so I went. I thought that the movie was going to be full of STUPID MAN humor. Well I was wrong, I enjoyed the movie alot. It was hilarious. Bryan laughed so hard it made me laugh just listening to him. It was a gun activity with the kids and Tia and Andy and of course, Major. We then came home and got ready for Bryan's company Christmas Party. We had a very enjoyable day, no chores or cleaning. Happy Birthday to you, I actually didn't clean anything on your birthday.
