This morning I opened facebook and my friend Jen had posted some pictures that she had taken during the last few soccer games. I saw the action shots of Cecilee and I just started crying. Knowing that I won't watch her play for about a year and that she has a long road ahead of her with her injury. I haven't cried since this whole injury, so I just let it all out, all by myself in the dark early in the morning. I didn't want her to know that I was crying about this whole thing, but I feel soooo sorry for her.
These pictures in the green uniform were the last pictures taken at her game that she got hurt in.
Yesterday at soccer practice she said that the coach came with GOLD #2's in vinyl for each of the players to put on their right cleat to encourage them to play for CEC. What an honor that was, she cried when she told me about it. She will be missed on the field, but she will be on the sideline being the team's BIGGEST cheerleader ever!!! She loves her team soo much!!! Well today after the Dr. appt she came home to get ready for school and she wanted to wear a dress because the whole team wears a dress on home game days. She came out of the room after getting ready and just started crying, "This sucks, I can't do this, I hate this!!!" I just hugged her a cried with her. She has been handling this pretty well, no tears, laughter, but today was the day she let it all out. I know that at the game today, she will be shedding more tears. This is Heavenly Father's plan for her at this time in her life.

She is so LOVED!!!!
Cecilee has been shown alot of love from her friends and soccer team and coaches. They all are so supportive and are just as devestated as we are. We just have to keep in mind the big picture, Heavenly Father has a plan for ALL of us,this just happens to be his plan for Cecilee at this time in her life. She is to learn something from this whole experience. In D&C 122 and on the wall in my office it reads: "All of the things shall give the experience and shall be for thy good". She is getting stronger and stronger everyday with a great attitude and understanding of her situation and trial. She is such an inspiration to me as her mother and others around her. I love her so much and I know that with faith and prayer she will get through this. I hear that surgery will be alot harder. I guess I am preparing myself for it, I am already a "HOVERING" mother.
Cecilee's Soccer Team came over after school for soccer practice to visit Cecilee. She loves these girls.
Cecilee and her high school soccer coaches: PK Kreyling & Kenny Kunde
Cecilee and her twin sister:Tori and her white mom: Jen - Jen and I share our daughters with each other, when I can't be there, she's there and viceversa.
First Home Football Game and Cecilee DID NOT want to miss it. So we got a wheelchair and wheeled her in. They allowed us to sit her on the track to watch the game. All of her soccer team wanted to be with her.
Garrett is Tori's little brother, who is also Cecilee's little white brother. He was excited to see her, after hearing all about it from his mom and sister.Chad gave her a shoulder massage during the game. He was so sad for Cecilee.
Sydnee and all of her friends asking a million questions to Cecilee about her injury.
Tori & Cecilee Best Friends Forever!!!
The Girls from her soccer team made her a card and they all signed it. Cecilee was so impressed because they didn't just sign it, they wrote paragraphs to her and expressed their love for her. In reading this card, Cecilee has inspired alot of girls. She loved her card.
Brad Wood brought her a Peach/Strawberry Shake from IceBerg.
Kryston and her little sister came and brought Cecilee a cake that they made that said, "Get Well Soon".
Her Competitive soccer team "BOMBERS" coaches: Kyle & Jerry came to bring her cupcakes & Bop It Game and lots of love and hugs. She has played for these to coaches for 5 years.

Cecilee's world has changed
Thursday morning while driving around town I as a mother, had this feeling that one of my kids were going to get hurt today. I had two kids playing sports games that day, so I assumed it would be in one of their games. I pushed that feeling aside and figured I was just worried, because I could only be at one game at a time since one is out of town. So I continued with my day. Cecilee and her soccer team was leaving for Cedar at 2:00pm so I stopped and picked up Orangepeel for her to drink on the bus and kissed her goodbye and said, "Score and play with everything you have. Love you!" So I prepared for Trevor's first football game of the season. I went and fed the football team spaghetti and gave him a squeeze and wished him a good game.
I get to Trevor's game at 4:00pm, knowing Cecilee is playing soccer at the same exact time in Cedar. My good friend, Jen Bergen was up there watching the girls and keeping me updated on the game through text. I received a text at 4:20 "Cec just scored, we are up 1-0". I told my family and we all screamed and celebrated for Cecilee's score. Then Jen called me and I answered the phone,"IS Cecilee OK?" She said,"Of course, why did you ask that? I just wanted to tell you about the stupid muddy field that they are playing on." So we hung up and I continued with Trevor's game then she text me again, "Cec scored again-we are up 2-0!" YEAH we celebrated again!!!! Then she called me again, this time I answered, "Now What?" she said, "Tonya, this isn't a good call-Cecilee went down by the goalie and she was at the bottom of the pile." Kenny (The coach) ran onto the field and Cecilee rolled over and said, "Don't touch me, it's my knee-I heard it pop multiple times" She said they helped her off the field and she is in alot of pain. So I met them at the hospital and called a good friend who met us there who is an Orthopeadic Surgeon.
We got to the hospital/Dr. Office and Cecilee was sitting in a wheelchair and you could tell she had been crying. I gave her a hug and waited with her and Tori and Bryan for the Dr. The Dr. came in looked at her leg, moved her kneecap and then looked at the other leg and said, "You tore your ACL", she laughed and said, "Shut up, I did not, Whatever" he then said in a stern voice and face, "YOU TORE YOUR ACL" she then burst into tears. She is so sad, she just is so heartbroken.
We have to keep telling ourselves that things happen for a reason and that she will come back stronger and hungrier next year. She will still be a very strong part of her soccer team, by coaching and yelling at the girls on the sideline. She loves her team so much. This is going to be a long haul.

Biking to School
Sydnee is riding her bike with all of the little girls in the neighborhood to school. They all meet in the morning and take off. This morning I saw all of them at my door and I told them, "Wait right there". All of the girls said to each other, "She's going to get her camera, I bet." They all laughed when I came back with my camera. They all know me. Got to capture these moments, they all go tooo fast.

SCHS Girls Soccer 2010
Here is the Snow Canyon Girls Soccer Team for 2010. Congratulations girls. The preseason games have begun.
This is the team in front of the Brazilian Restaurant that they all went to while on the road for the preseason games. They went here because their coach served his mission in Brazil and wanted all of the girls to experience the culture. Alot of them tried and ate Chicken Heart. Delicious!!!
Cecilee was nominated by her team as one of the captains. Here she is with the other two captains: Jaycee and Tori
They played Delta for their first game, winning 3-0, the second game was Pleasant Grove, they won- in the last 10 seconds with Cecilee's winning penalty kick (in the picture) and the last game was against Lehi and they lost 1-0 in double overtime, of course they played against the ref's as well. She had a blast with all of her new teammates. SHould be a great year. We can't wait.

ANKLE again
Well Soccer Tryouts began on August 2nd on Monday at 6:00am. Cecilee and 41 other girls showed up and started doing everything that they needed to do for tryouts. I receive a phonecall at 9:00 and it was Cecilee on the other end. The first thing that she said was, "MOM, I rolled my ankle again, I heard a really load "POP"!" She said that she was icing it on the sideline and has it elevated. I couldn't believe that she wasn't crying. That evening I took her to Dr. Salmon and he adjusted her and checked her ankle. His diagnosis was that she has LOOSE Ligaments and that the only way to help it would be to R.I.C.E. it. (Rest Ice Compress Elevate) for the next three days, which means she cannot finish tryouts. I called the coach and he said that he didn't want her to finish tryouts and he already knows what she can do and he didn't need to see anymore. He wanted her to listen to the Dr. and get her ankle healed. So we helped Cecilee ice her ankle and keep it elevated. Knowing Cecilee she went to tryouts on Tuesday and Wednesday and sat and iced it while the tryouts went on. She wanted to show support to the girls.
It is now Wednesday and they posted the names of the girls who made the team and CECILEE made the cuts. I am so excited for soccer season. Cecilee is so much fun to watch. CONGRATULATIONS my Cec-So--Sweet!!!!
