Sydnee was involved in her school Geography Bee for her whole school. She and 2 of her other girlfriends were all a part of it. They picked 4 from each class, Sydnee, her two friends: Jaquel and Aspen and another little guy in her class. They all did such a great job. I was so proud of Sydnee.

Sydnee's Geography Bee

Trevor's Birthday Party
I put together a birthday party for Trevor because it had been about 3 years since he had a party so I thought a surprise one would be fun. I had a couple of his friends help me with the inviting process. I didn't quite know how many invitations to make, so I made 50 and gave them to his friends. I had them all text me because I wanted to put together The Amazing Race for his birthday party. It was awesome!!! Well, one of Trevor's friends came to him at school and apologized to him for not being able to come to his party. That's when he found out about the party. So I just let him know and continued to prepare for the party. It was the first friday of March and all of the convenient stores were doing FREE FRAZIL FRIDAY's in March. So Trevor went with a bunch of friends to get a frazil. He was gone for about 2 hours and finally texted me and asked, "Mom, is anyone there?" I texted him back and told him, "Emree, she's the only one so far." (Really there were 35 kids there at that time.) So I told them all to go into the office and hid from Trevor. Trevor came into the house and saw Emree, he said HI and I asked him to get me the exercise ball in the office. He turned and went into the office and "SUPRISE!!!!" He was so surprised!!!! I had each of the kids that came into the house pick out a bandana and that was the way that I divided the teams. I had 7 teams with 6 on each team. I gave them their first envelope and they were off. At each destination they had to find a clue and then do an activity and then get another clue envelope. It was so much fun!!! The kids loved it, they ended up at their last destination and that was the church bldg. In there we had pizza, snacks and played musical chairs. That had to be the biggest musical chairs game ever. We set up 45 chairs and it was so much fun to watch. After musical chairs they played dodge ball. Trevor thanked me and even gave me a big hug and kiss and told me that he loved me so much. That was the greatest thank you. Wow, my boy is 14.

14 years ago my son was born
14 years ago at 5:45am my son blessed my life and I will be eternally grateful. He has brought so much joy and happiness to our family. We were blessed with lace, frills, bows, shoes, dresses, etc for the first 5 years of our life together and when a boy came into the mix, we were so happy. Even though there was less maintenance I loved it. My son was such a cute, quiet, baby who stuck his tongue out ALL THE TIME!!!! He walked at 8 months old. I was decorating for christmas and I was at the top of the ladder and I looked down and gues who was on the 3rd step, TREVOR!!! I didn't want to scare him and I wanted a picture so I went down the other way and got my picture. WHAT THE HECK!!! That's how he has been all of his life. He rode a 2 wheeler at 3 yrs old. I think he rode it before he was fully potty trained, go figure. He just watches things and then copies. He is so quiet and doesn't ever have much to say. He said that he saves his energy for sports NOT talking. He cracks me up. He has ALWAYS been the TYPICAL boy: dirt, bugs, cars, dinosaurs, sports, and outside. I remember doing laundry once and I heard something hitting the bottom of the barrel like a big bang. So I went to the bottom of the dryer and Trevor had a rock the size of a fist, in his pocket zipped up as well as 4 dead roaches and a few other rocks. That taught me to clean out his pockets. Love all these memories of my BOY!!! I love you so much Trevor. He loves to be adventurous and try new things. HE loves to build forts with his friends and especially loves to play FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL and SOCCER. His sisters love to hug and kiss him and embarrass him in front of his friends. His friends always tell him, I wish I was you, they could do that to us. hahaha He really does love his sisters. Cambria and Cecilee are beautiful girls, but do you think Trevor wants to be seen going to school with them, HECK NO!!!! The girls just don't get it!!! We are all so glad that he is ours for eternity!!!! We love you Trevor.

Senior Night for Cambria
Well the Senior Cheerleaders were honored by the administration of the school since it was their last home basketball game. I can't even believe that she is turning another page in her life. The cheerleaders are everything to the school and make the activities happen. Cheerleading has been alot of fun during the last two years. She has been a great example to all of the girls and has made some great friends.

Darn-Bloody Soccer
Cecilee participated in a soccer tournament this weekend and this was the only picture that I got, thanks to her coach who took this picture, because Cecilee asked him to take it before he wrapped it up so she could go back in and play. She slid on the sandpaper grass and tore up her thigh. She felt wetness and touched her leg and had blood all over her hand. She told the ref and he blew the whistle, ran up to her face and yelled, "YOU ARE OUT!!!" She said, "What, why?" He then told her, "You're bleeding. OUT!" So she ran off the field and her coaches wrapped her up and put her back in. She loves taking pictures of her war wounds. She just loves soccer.
Basketball Season Over & Beginning
Trevor played with this team for the past 5 weeks with 2 games every Saturday. He had alot of fun with these boys. After the last game the following week they had Boarder League Tryouts with about 40 boys trying out. They have two teams of 10 boys on each team. Trevor hasn't had a whole lot of experience with Basketball, but he enjoys playing. He's not as confident as he is in Football and Soccer, but wanted to give it a try. He made first cuts and then came the final cuts. He made it. One of the coaches said, "Trevor's not a polished basketball player, but he is a true athlete." So I guess, that's what helped him out. We love watching Trevor play any sport.
President's Day
President's weekend has always been a Horlacher Family tradition to have a family get together every year for as long as I can remember becoming a member of the family. Grandma Horlacher's birthday is just a few weeks away and so they have always celebrated her birthday early. So we celebrated her 103rd birthday. We went to the Beehive Home, where she lives, and sang old time songs with her. All of her kids came with their spouses and Bryan and I and our kids. We love spending time with her. She is an amazing woman.
Valentines Day !!!!
Valentines morning was wonderful. I wanted to make it special for my children and the love of my life. So I set the table all in valentines and red and hung some streamers, etc. Bryan helped me and we made waffles with cream and strawberries, ham steaks and red juice. The kids were so excited, I had their valentine boxes with their choclates and a treat. We had such a great breakfast together, considering our church is at 9:00. I then told the kids to get dressed, just to make sure they wear something red. I think they all did a great job in picking out their outfits. I love my family so much!!! My kids are mine and Bryan's valentines days gone past. hahaha
I forgot to get a picture before breakfast, so this was taken after breakfast.
My four kids after church
The girls all love to tease Trevor and try to hug and kiss him all of the time. I tried to get him to just let them on Valentines Day, but he still wasn't going for it.
Cam wanted a picture with me and Bryan, after taking a few of just us.
Me and my forever boyfriend. I love this guy!!!
Elementary Valentine
Friday was the last time I would have to make a valentines box with my last kid in elementary. Wow, I have made about 20 of those boxes through the years. I can't believe this will be my last one. Sydnee was excited for her valentines party and giving out her valentines. I made cupcakes for the kids when they got home from school. They were so excited and I felt like Martha Stewart. I love valentines day!!!
