Timpanogas HERE THEM COME!!!

We have a great team~ All the way around!! I had an idea to do a breakfast for the girls before they left up north to play a Semi-Final game at Juan Diego. So I made a phone call to the coach, he said yes and I made a few phonecalls to some of the moms and we had a full blown "Relief Society" breakfast, lunch, snacks, etc. for the bus ride. We have amazing mom's that are more than willing to help with anything, even if they work full-time or have a schedule crammed with activities. They are always willing. I feel so fortunate to be a part of a team like this. The girls were excited. We had egg casseroles, homemade muffins, TONS of fruit, and juice. Then, Tori's mom, Jen was talking to the owner of Jimmy JOhn's and he offered to make 40 subsandwiches for the girls bus ride. So we decided to make a few more calls to wonderful parents and get chips and drinks and snacks to go with the subs. We have an incredible TEAM, on the field and behind the soccer players, Thanks MOMS!!

Cecilee, Charlie, Jadyn "LOSEE", Tina and Tori - enjoying their breakfast!

These two are inseperable. They love each other like sisters, and treat each other like sisters. That could be a good and bad thing!!!

If you look close, guess who's faces are there in the back window? Yep Cecilee and Tori~Love those girls!!!

Emotions Run WILD!!!

Cecilee has been doing good through the season with her emotions, every now and then, there is a flood gate that opens, but she's been so excited for the girls soccer team and there to support them. This last playoff game that they won and secured them a place to play up north at Juan Diego, just one more game away from Rio Tinto, she broke down. (I broke down, watching her.) I watched the team celebrate and I saw my daughter standing on the side watching her team celebrate and just cry. NOT because she wasn't happy for them, but she was sad for herself. (As I relive that moment and write this, I am crying all over again.) It just broke my heart to watch her watch her team. She wanted this probably more than any of these girls and worked so hard during the summer to prepare herself to help her team get to this spot. Thank goodness for her friends who all rallied around her to give her hugs and comfort during this hard time. She is so excited for the girls and their hard work, she just wishes she could've done something to help them get to where they are today. She keeps saying, "Just wait till next year!!!!" "I will definately be a FORCE to be RECKON'd with!!!!" I love that girl!!!
*************
The 4 time STATE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPS came out and made a tunnel for our Girls Soccer Team. Their support meant alot to our girls.

My Cecilee just crying, her heart was hurting!!!
Cecilee and Tori have played soccer together since they were 5. One of the main thoughts that made Cecilee sad about this whole situation, was she wouldn't ever be able to play with Tori on the soccer field again in high school. They are GOOD together!!!
This picture is Tori and Cecilee just hugging and crying!!!
One of the girls made a fabulous suggestion to "GIVE THANKS" to our Heavenly Father for this opportunity to play and to ask for help. Thanks Sarah Henderson!!!
This pic is of the girls kneeling on the soccer field "GIVING THANKS~!"
Their last huddle on their home soccer field "WARRIORS!!!!"
Check out my girls crutch high in the air!!!!

The 2 boys I love so much!!!!

These 2 boys are getting so big!!! Major is now 2 and looks 4, but that's OK, he can hold his own, so you would really think he's 4. Legend is 3 months and is as cute as ever. His eyes keep getting lighter and lighter, I think he's going to be like his daddy and have blue eyes. He is the happiest baby and loves to smile. I get sooo excited when I know that I am going to see these boys, they just make my day!!!! It's amazing how babies and children can make everyone so happy. I love them!!!!
(Tia I know you are going to steal these pics. YOU SHOULD!) Love ya!

Look at that ADORABLE FACE!!!! I told you he is sooo happy!!!
Look at this adorable BIG Boy!!!!
He loves Cam so much!!! And she loves him MORE!!!

41 years ago.....

My GREATEST joy, ever!! The love of my life with my children!!!
My parents, today!!! & My parents 42 years ago at 18 years old!!!
My 7 brothers and sisters with our Parents
The original 7 back in 1987

I cannot be more grateful for the two people who, 41 years ago, gave me life!!! My parents were 19 years old when they brought me into the world and looking back 40 yrs or so, I HAVE BEEN TRULY BLESSED!!! To be raised in the true church ALL MY LIFE, to have married my high school sweetheart and love of my life, to have 4 beautiful children, whom I adore and to live to close to all of my brothers and sisters and have the relationship that I do with them, I am blessed!!!!! I love everything about my life, my job at Simister Orthodontics-I couldn't have asked to associate with a greater work family. Sometimes I spend more time with them then with my own family. The neighborhood that I live in, that I call "Pleasantville" is truly a neighborhood that you would see in the movies. I love my neighbors and appreciate their role in helping me raise my children. I am grateful for the blessings that my Heavenly Father continues to pour on me daily.

KALAMITY DANCE

Cambria has danced with her Aunty Tia for years, but her dream was to be able to audition for her dance team and dance with her there. She auditioned back in the early part of the summer and made it. Here is the dance team. Tia's choreography is amazing, she is so talented and I feel so blessed to have Cambria working with the BEST dance instructor. She and Tia are more like sisters instead of Aunty and Neice. Tia's has a Kalamity Blog, check it out it http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.kalamitydance.blogspot.com%2F&h=fce08
She explains what KALAMITY means and about their upcoming show that they are doing in December!!!!

Photoshoot with Cecilee

This soccer season was not quite what Cecilee had in store for herself. After watching her during the summer and seeing how hard she was working for the upcoming soccer season she was stronger than I had ever seen her, more determined to reach the goals she had set for herself and striving for college scholarships or just looks from colleges. She was so excited about the girls she was going to be playing with and just the upcoming team was going to be able to take state and she was so excited to be able to be a part of that. Her goal for herself was to score every game. So far she had 5 goals out of 4 games that she had played and she was well on her way to reaching that goal. She told me, "Mom, last year I had 5 goals out of the whole season, this year I have 5 goals and have only played 4 games so far, I am going to bypass last years total goals." So when she got hurt in her 2nd game in region, her heart was just broken. My heart for her was broken, but we had to take a look at the BIG picture. Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us and this just happened to be his plan for Cecilee at this time in her life.
I am so proud of Cecilee and the way in which she handled this whole ordeal. She NEVER once asked, "WHY ME?" We did let her know when it happened when others would ask, "Why Cecilee?" WHY NOT CECILEE, she is NOT exempt from challenges or trials. Our trials will ONLY make us stronger and make us more appreciative of the things that we take for granted. Cecilee has always been a physically strong person and athlete, always been a natural athlete who never really had to work at the things that she wanted. This whole experience has made her really look at herself and watch from the sidelines and appreciate what she had. This past week she was released from the wheelchair and brace and was told that in two weeks she will be able to get rid of the crutches. We are all so excited for her. I know for a fact that this girl of mine is going to be stronger, faster, more appreciative, more understanding, more compassionate, etc. I am so excited to watch her play again and see her intensity again on the field. We as a family have learned so much from this experience.
This whole photoshoot was my idea and I told her that I wanted to take her to the soccer field on a Sunday and take some pictures of her in her wheelchair, crutches and brace just to have something to remember this whole experience. I am so glad that I talked her into it, because this next week she was released from her brace and wheelchair.

She got pretty good at popping wheelies
Cecilee has ALWAYS kept her eye on THE GOAL!!!

A Horrific Accident

Tuesday, October 5th there was a horrific accident that happened at the high school that Cecilee attends. It was raining and school had just let out and these two boys were standing under a tree waiting for their ride when one of the boys were struck by lightning and the other was hit with the flash. They both were pulled into the school where the administration and some students performed CPR until the Fire Department arrived. Thank goodness for the quick thinking of those people, that is what saved their lives. They were lifeflighted to Las Vegas and the last word, they are doing good. They are going to be doing an MRI on both boys and will see what other internal injuries there are. I saw that they have a blog for everyone to follow on the right side of my blogs: Alex and Dane: Beating the Odds. If you are interested please go and read.

This made me really appreciate and love my children even more. Lightning is SOOO RANDOM, that that could've been one of my children. It is a miracle that these boys have pulled through this, but of course will have a long road ahead for recovery. BUT MIRACLES HAPPEN and PRAYERS ARE HEARD!!!!
