Spring Break 2011

For Spring Break this year, we went to Bryan's parents cabin and helped them get things done for the spring. We pruned apple trees, painted a sealer on the cabin, hung blinds & pictures and vinyl lettering, and taught grandma and grandpa how to play Wii. We then went to Arizona to see Bryan's brother's and sister and their families. We had a great time with family.

Grandpa and Trevor were inside and at the top of the trees.
This was my very first time prunning any type of trees. The first day I had a blast, it was like cleaning a house, you slowly start to see the tree thinning out and making progress. Well, I didn't stop, I kept going for about 5 hours and when it came to the end of the day, my arms were killing me. I had to hurry into the house and shower because I was afraid if I waited I wouldn't be able to wash my hair because I couldn't get my arms above my head. I was in so much pain that night, I just laid and cried. I learned my lesson, I took more breaks the next day and Advil.
Pruning the apple trees. Jeff came with Cambria and Cecilee and helped prune.
The kids loved driving the golf cart and the mule around the property. Lots of fun.
My two crazy teenagers. I was very glad that they were able to come to the cabin for a day with us and help with the prunning of the trees. The older they get, the harder it is to have all of us together. I cherish every moment I get as a mother to have my whole family together.
Trevor teaching Grandpa how to play Wii!!! Grandma beat everyone at everything she played.
Playing "Just Dance 2" at Charles and Christene's Home
All of the cousins, minus Cambria and Cecilee

Duaine and Bryan cooking breakfast, love the aprons!!!
Breakfast with the couples: Charles/Christene, Bryan/I, Jenny, Cheri/Mark & Duaine
We took the kids to lunch at a mexican restaurant.

Bryan and his two brothers.
Gameroom downstairs
Playing football in the backyard, yes it looks like a park, but it's their backyard.
The cheerleaders on the sideline: Abby on top, Nichole and Sydnee on bottom.

The boys after their football game. My son really did have fun playing, he just has a hard time SMILING!!!

This gives you an idea of the size of this car. Sydnee is taller than it.
All of the ladies wanted to get a picture of all the HORLACHER guys in the Fiat.
It was quite the site to see!!!
Rob has lots of toys and Bryan wanted to sit on his beautiful motorcycle.
Rob explaining everything to Trevor before he gave him the ride of his life.

I came back from my ride with a huge smile on my face. We took corners going 50 mph, we were so low to the ground that I could read the imprint on the tires of other cars, and it was so fast that I couldn't help but smile, so that I wouldn't cry.
Trevor and Sydnee wanted a picture in the car, considering Rob told Trevor that he would let him drive the car when he gets his license. That could be alot sooner than he thinks, considering 16 is right around the corner.
