I was at work and received this text from Sydnee:
"Mom, can I PLEASE "Go Out" with Tyler, it only means that everyone in school knows that we like each other and that we hug sometimes."
Yes my jaw dropped, am I reading this right?
So I FORWARDED this text to Bryan, Cambria & Cecilee
Bryan texted me back and said, "What the HECK? We will talk tonight!"
Cambria texted me and said, "HAHAHAHAAAAAAAA What a Diva!!! What are you going to tell her?"
Cecilee just laughed and read the text to Trevor and they both laughed and said, "I would've just gone out with him and not say anything." (What BRATS)
We had a talk about what happens to boys when they hug girls and the parts that make themselves known. When I was telling her, she was plugging her ears. I figured the more I made it sound disgusting, the more it would deter her from hugging. They will never look at a hug the same again.
I had her go and get her "For The Strength of Youth" Pamphlet and we read the section "Dating" and "Friends"
Needless to say, She is NOT "Going Out" with a Boy until she is 16!!!!
She is such a funny girl. She gives all of us a good laugh!!!

Syd's Soccer Tournament
Sydnee's soccer team played in the Dixie Invitational over Thanksgiving weekend. My kids have played in this tournament for the last 8 years. It's so weird that I only have 1 kid playing in it. In the past we have had all 4 playing in the tournament. (I am not complaining, it's nice to only have 1 game to be at and to juggle). She missed Friday's games because we were in Glendale. So she played in the last 2 games on Saturday. She loves her new team.
Sydnee on the fieldThe older kids came to watch her play. She loves when she see's her brother and sisters there cheering her on. Since, she has been to PLENTY of their games through the years. The girls needed a seat, so they sat on Trevor's lap.Bryan gave Cambria his seat, so Cecilee sat on Trevor. HE really does love his sisters. All four kids after Sydnee's game!!!Sydnee and her friend Jacquel. On there way to get their GOLD medal!!!WAY TO GO STRIKERS!!!!!

Thanksgiving 2011
We had Thanksgiving at the 3 Bear Ranch, Bryan's parents ranch in Glendale, Utah with all of his brother's and sister's. It's such a nice get away for everyone. It's so relaxed up there. Trevor always says that it's his favorite place to go. Mom taught all of us how to make her famous rolls
They are the frosting on the cake when it comes to Thanksgiving Dinner.
My family before we sit down to eat Thanksgiving Dinner.
Dad with Cambria and CecileeI was in charge of setting the table, everyone was excited that they had name tags at their seats and were excited to see where they were sitting. It was good to have everyone at the same table. Our plates were overflowing!!! A little bit of EVERYTHING!!!Our Horlacher Family enjoying Thanksgiving!!We are so GRATEFUL!!!!
Family Pictures w/ The Horlachers
It's always amazing to me to see posterity in a family. When it starts with 2 people and then it is just their children and then to see their children's children. WOW!! 3 Generations!! I love it!!! Bryan's parents had 5 children: Bryan, Charles & Curtis (Twins-one died at birth), Duaine and Cheri. Each one of their children married and had 4 children each which equals: 26 for Richard & Cheryl Horlacher's Posterity
(Oldest to Youngest) Cambria (19), Cecilee (18), Trevor(15), Richard(14), Nicole(14), Sydnee(13), Andrew(12), Michael(12), Travis(11), Scott(10), Caleb(10), Heather(9), Celina(8), Hillary(8), Jeremy(7) & Brandon(4)

"Deck The Halls......"
It's Black Friday morning and we are in the mountains at the cabin, where are my girls, "SHOPPING ONLINE!!!" Getting some of those Black Friday Deals!!!Forever 21 was a hit with my girls and a store that had some amazing boots, they did hit up American Eagle for Trevor as well. They asked for my credit card for a few other items that their account couldn't possibly handle, then they said, "Mom we will just do your Christmas Shopping for you." Yah Right!! Way to be manipulative!!
After Thanksgiving the day after, Christmas starts to make it's appearance. Since Grandma had so much help in her cabin, she figured let's get our HUMUNGOUS tree out and have the kids decorate it. They loved it. I think their tree is 15 feet tall.
The men just sat brought in all of the Christmas decorations and wanted to sit and relax and watch Trevor, since he is the tallest and can reach the top.All of the girls with Grandma and Trevor on the ladder decorating the top of the tree and helping get all of the lights lite up on the tree.Christmas Elves: Cecilee and Cambria decorating with Grandma's huge ornaments for her huge tree.Cambria and Cecilee perched on top of the ladders decorating like crazy! While the girls "Decked The Halls" the boys went SHOOTING!!!The 3 Brothers: Duaine, Charles & Bryan with some of their boys!!!
Mesquite Football Tournament
This football tournament was very last minute. Max was asked to put together a team for this tournament and he asked Bryan and Andy to help him coach. Their team was incredible and wasted all of the other teams. The first game, was against Lehi and the score was 34-0. And then their 2nd game was against Herriman and the score 60-6 and their 3rd game the other team forfeited, they didn't want to play them. It was fun to watch these boys that don't really know each other and play for other schools come together as a team. They were awesome!!!!Trevor was #20 and Jaden was #17.The team with their 3 coaches: Bryan, Max and AndyTrevor and Brady (he's our neighbor and he and Trevor will play next year together)"WARRIOR NATION" even in Pine View Uniforms
