It was Preference Dance at the high school that Cambria and Paula go to. They started off by all of the girls in their group, which there were 9, met at our house at 6:30am to go and kidnap all of the boys out of bed. They all returned to our home for breakfast. I was in charge of breakfast, so I made an egg casserole, chocolate chip pancakes, fruit w/dip and OJ and milk. I think the kids were pretty satisfied. They then went on a picture scavenger hunt and caving at Snow Canyon State park. They then took the boys home to get ready for the dance. All of the girls planned to take the boys to a home and have them watch a movie while they attended the General Young Women's Broadcast. After dinner they went to the dance and then came back to our home for hot tubbing. They had a fun filled day.

I have got to GROW - UP!!!!
OH YAH- I went through Gun Handling 101 again tonight. I don't know why he insists that I know how to handle this thing. I got a nasty blood blister on my hand trying to cock it. Hopefully - I NEVER have to use it!!!!!
Grandma Bauer's Funeral
On the day that we celebrated Bryan's other grandma's 102nd birthday, we received the news that his other grandma (Cheryl's Mom) had passed away. It was a bitter sweet day. To think of the great reunion between his grandparents made everything so much better. The funeral was held in Glendale, Utah where his grandparents had a ranch and apple orchard. It was a beautiful day to be with family. Bryan was asked by his mom to do the Eulogy and he did a fabulous job. His grandma was a wonderful hardworking woman, who loved her family and left a great legacy. Thank goodness we have the gospel and we know that we will see her again. Families are Forever.

Happy 102 Birthday Grandma!!!
March 13th we went to the Beehive Assisted Living Home to visit Bryan's Grandma who turned 102. She kept asking why everybody was there and who's birthday it was. We told her that we were there to help celebrate her 102nd birthday. She said, "Wow, I can't believe that anybody could live that long." She was so adorable. Her health is slowly deteriorating and we are afraid that these might be the last pictures that we get to take with her. So I of course wanted to get as many pictures as I could, especially with my husband and kids. We were glad to be there with Bryan's parents. That same day, we received the news of his other grandma, his mother's mom, Grandma Bauer passed away on that same day. I felt so bad for Bryan's mom, she had a bunch of mixed feelings going on. Thank goodness these ladies have lived full lives. Life is wonderful, especially with families.

Trip to Costco
Bryan and I went to Costco to get a few things and walked out with a car load of Palm Trees. We walked by these palms and Bryan said, "Find out how much those trees are and if they are priced right, we might get a few." So I found someone and they told me they were $38.99. WHAT? Are you sure? Well Bryan, needless to say, went crazy!!! We ended up walking out with 6 trees, and four other plants. I asked him, "How are we getting these home?" He said, "Don't worry, I'll get them in the expedition." WHAT? Well he got them in the car. I, of course, always have my camera on me and so I told him before we left the parking lot, "I need a picture." He tells me, "You are making a spectacle of us by taking a picture." I just laughed and said, "Um, I think you did that all on your own, getting these trees in our car."
Happy Birthday Pat!!
A friend of mine from work turned 50 today!!! I made her a fruit pizza in the shape of a 5 and 0. We all enjoyed eating it for a Team meeting. Me and a few ladies from the office went to her house last night and decorated her house in balloons and signs that said "50". She is such a sweetheart!!! Happy Birthday Pat!!!
My Husband, My Best Friend
************************************************
Well my best friend came home on Wednesday, March 11th and I was on pins and needles awaiting the moment. I was expecting him about 5 am and no husband. So I called, no answer, left for work at 9:30am and still no answer or phone call. So I start worrying. He was driving home with his parents and so I called their cellphone and his mom answered and said they had icy roads and fatigue so they pulled over to sleep. I was comforted with that, but WHY didn't he call me!!!!! I was so mad!! So she handed Bryan the phone and I just let him have it!!! Blah Blah Blah!!! So I told him, I will see you tonight after 5pm when I get off of work, Bye! I was mad and relieved at the same time, I just wanted a phonecall or text. So at about 12:15pm this grizzly bear comes walking into my office with Roses that looks like my husband. I looked at him and said, "What are you doing here?" I dragged him out into the hall and gave him a big HUG and Kiss and said, "Why didn't you shave before you came to see me?" I totally forgot that I was mad at him, I was just so glad to hug him and have him hold me!!! We visited for about 15 minutes and then I went back to work and he went to get a haircut and shave before I got home. I walked into my office and all of the ladies were all, "Where did he go? Are you leaving? GO HOME TONYA!!! We can operate the office without you." So no need to tell me twice, I was out of there. That was so nice of them to let me spend that time with him. I only get a week and I cherish every moment I have with him. We are literally connected at the hip when he comes home. I love to spend every minute with him. My first evening home with him I don't sleep as well I would think cause I just stare and savor every minute. I guess I'm afraid if I wake up it will be a dream. I love just cuddling on the couch and talking in bed in the early morning hours, making breakfast together, etc.
Bryan got home just in time for Cambria's cheer banquet for the end of the year. Cambria was awarded OUTSTANDING "JUNIOR" CHEERLEADER, by all of the other cheerleaders. Wow, what an honor for her. She is a great young lady. After that we ran over to Hansen Stadium to watch our other Outstanding young lady Cecilee play soccer against the hardest team in the league. She played keeper the whole game and they did not even get a chance to score on her. We got there in time to watch her take out a couple girls in the box. One of the grandfathers from the team said, "Being hit by Cecilee is like being hit by a freight train." When she is going after the ball, you had better just let her have the ball, because she will probably hurt you trying to get the ball. Bryan just loves watching his kids play soccer. He loves that there were so many activities that he could participate in. Saturday, March 7, 2009

Happy Birthday to My ONLY son!!!
****************************************
Thirteen years ago there was a 9 pound little boy born on March 6th, 1996. We named him Trevor Richard Horlacher and ended up being the ONLY boy in his family. He is 100% boy and all the boy we could handle. Trevor has always been active and loved the outdoors. He walked & climbed a 6ft. ladder when he was 8 months old. There was NO stopping this kid, he has so much determination and believes there is nothing he can't do. He loves playing fast sports: FOOTBALL, SOCCER, and BASKETBALL. He has always been dad's sidekick, but now that dad works out of town he is THE MAN OF THE HOUSE, and does a great job with that title. He takes it pretty serious and always wants to protect his mom and sisters. We love having Trevor as a part of our family. He doesn't say much, because his sisters do ALL the talking. He is very shy, quiet and humble. When playing sports he likes to let his opponent feel his presence. He is very competitive and is learning that winning isn't everything, but he sure loves the feeling of a win and he tries his best to help with the win. I am so grateful to my heavenly father for blessing me with another priesthood holder in my family. He loves holding the priesthood and feels very honored to do so. I love my son and am so proud of the young man that he is becoming. He has a great example to follow through his dad. I lvoe you Trev.

My man in Wyoming

I was talking to Bryan the other night and I said, "You do realize that you have a camera on your phone, right? I want to see you, will you please have someone take a picture of you at work so I can see what you do?" He tells me, "NO, I am not asking someone to take my phone and take a picture of me to send to my crazy wife. Tonya, I am already an outcast here - I am going to look stupid." So I continued to tell him that that would help me not miss him so much, to be able to see him every now and then. I then told him, you could take it yourself and send it to me. So I gave up and look what I got last night.... a picture of my handsome man. I can't complain, it looks like through his glasses he took it himself and was not allowing anyone to know what he was doing. I love it!!! Modern technology now days helps with the absence. I miss him so much and everyday seems so long waiting to hear from him. He calls me at 3:00am when he gets to the yard and then I don't hear from him again until 10:00pm at night when he gets showered and is laying in bed from a long day at work. We are just very grateful he has a job. I love him and his sacrifice that he makes for our family. I can't complain - Life is Good, but could be better if he were here.

More "MAJOR" cute Pictures
OK this little guy has totally won my heart. I told my girls that I hope that I love their kids as much as I love this little guy, when they have them. He makes me smile everytime I see him. He is now 5 days away from 5 months old and is well over 25 pounds and very tall. He is so cute and gettign such a personality. He is at that stage where he likes to grab everything. Thank goodness he doesn't give me that urge to want another baby. I am totally at the grandma stage. Tia has always been considered my oldest, so he is my first grandbaby. We can wait at least 5 years for Cambria to even think about this stage. Life is good!!!
